  • Is that a toaster you're lifting?

  • Thank you Nat for putting these videos out!! I must admit that i stumbled upon your channel when i was researching how to do the spartacus workout and I have been a fan ever since. I don't care what anyone else says your awesome for putting out these instructional videos and making it easier for all of us average joe's to get a good workout at home. I will be trying this workout for at least 60 days before i move on to Spartacus 2.0!! God bless and keep the videos coming!!

  • You rated it 4 out of (an indefinite # of stars). Is it 4/5 or 4/10? You may want to update this information in your description, and also your other video descriptions.

  • @TheGreyMew You may want to listen to what he say's properly and you would hear i give this 4 stars not 5 stars because... !!

  • boo. go fast. try not to rest. ever.

  • Great exercises thank you.

  • Nat, I'm 49 years old and am getting into a workout regiment for the first time in years. I was wondering how much weight I should start with. I am 6 ft. 225 pounds. Also my sons who are 10 and 8 years old want to do it with me but I'm not sure what the guide lines are for kids and free weights. I get conflicting information. Do you have any info on this matter ?

  • How much weight?? I'm using 30 pounds I just started.

  • What would yourself or anybody else recommend for the starting weight for my dumbells?

  • @2007dillon2007 15lb on each would be a good starting point

  • This was awesome.

  • Get up sit up!

  • dumbells look like timebombs :S

  • Wow just got my weights and I tried as hard as I could but had to stop at one arm push

I will get to do it I will complete this at 1 time

  • yo how can this workout take only 30 minutes... if u do it with 45 second ret times in between sets that alone takes like 30 minutes. not to mention the time spend actually working out. does it recommend that u don t rest in between sets? someone clear this up for me?

  • @SuperKungfujoe workout time is suggested, doesn't include warming up and cooling down. As far as resting between sets, rest between 30-60 seconds as needed. For me I generally rest enough time to make sure I can complete the set reps, getting the most out of the workout. I went back in to the info for this video and included the workout breakout in the description. Let me know if this helps.

  • Thanks

  • Thanks for sharing your exercise video with others. I appreciate it.

  • he talks to us like we are real retards

''I've found a new workout - it's called the dumbell workout''

  • We do these in school but use kettle bells

  • I thought those dumbbells where fake for a second lol.

  • cheers..

  • hmmm, i cant seem to figure out why he is using coffee makers as dumbbells :P

  • Nice workout routine but the only muscle i was working out was my index finger from having to keep adjusting the volume.

    Thanks! :D

  • cageybee,,, sounds you dont know everything, first you have to do this kind of thing before loosing belly fat... you cant get your abs if you dont do stuff like this

  • work on your abs, dude!

  • what happens if ur dumbells are circular not squarishh fer part 2:14

  • im dieing here. im so tired i cant even type right

  • this was awesome thanks for the video

  • useful to my phase two of exercising

  • 3:20 I thought you were going to punch through the ceiling. XD

  • Is he using two toasters as weights?

  • nice workout, oh btw i have that shoes XD

  • I have a question about the renegade row. My dumbbells are circular and not square like yours are, should I perhaps stay away from the renegade row then in case the dumbbell on the floor slips? Or is it not a big health and safety issue? Cheers.

  • @Panttts -mI have circular ones as well, but I don't think it's a health or safety issue, as they've been working fine for me. All of the pressure is towards the floor, so as long as you keep your arms close to your chest, as Nat recommends, you shouldn't have a problem.

  • I just start this workout! I think i'll do it 3times a week for a months ... Sounds good?

  • Im starting now . and wanted to know ... im only 17 , how long would it take for me to see results?

  • @502louisvillan That's the silliest and most asked question ever.

  • @502louisvillan Its really based off of repetition dude. keep on schedule and don't try to over work yourself results WILL come in due time don't rush it.

  • thank you so much for the video. I am starting out... I have to get some excercise on me. You'd think this is easy.. but since I am out of shape this really works up a sweat and you can feel for sure the result the day after.

  • its a real good at home workout and a real good start for begginers

  • thanx for this great workout,i'm a cyclist and i gain a lot of muscle.

  • Excellent workouts using dumbbells except for the get up sit ups, they can cause some serious back problems.

  • I saw an exercise that combines the one arm press with the one arm clean. Should I just do that instead? and for the same amount of reps?

  • Good stuff Dude, keep it up. Yo those weights a yours is crazy!!

  • hey nat im 14 and hopeing to gain more muscle overall. do you have any vids that you would recomend to me or just excersises i should do to gain more muscle and just tips about what i should do.

  • Thanks

  • your weight is silly. i love it

  • subscribed. Just bought a set of dumbbells, hope these help, was looking for a complete dumbbell exercise after I do my yoga.

  • Hey, I've tried it and liked it! Cannot do the full reps on the push ups yet though. Oh yeah, try this, next time your alarm goes off, army roll out of bed, onto your chest and do 20 press ups, sound easy? think about it next time your alarm goes off :-).

  • Great work! You just opened a new batch of ideas that I can apply to my workouts.

    Thanks!

  • Kickass video. I think I've finally found a thorough (& maybe a bit rough startin out the gate) dumbbell exercise for my occasional circuit training.

  • thanks for the review

  • Thanks for the demonstration. I was intrigued by this workout. I'll try it.

  • What does no.7's workout do? I missed the explanation

  • Good stuff. Very helpful instruction

  • Great form, great exercises. I remember reading about it. I think. The Single Leg Deadlift makes me think of the Good Mornings with alterations. Nice little workout for those that can't stick to long term time slots. Glad to see you are ok as well.

  • bg, Thank You, your comments keep me going.
