  • Amazing quintet playing here...with that said, I'm sorry, but tuba>bass trombone when it comes to any brass quintet.

  • We should be exhilarated--many arts went into this--music, engineering, math, physics, video. Exciting musically, visually, and intellectually.

  • mad skills

  • For second I thought I was watching star trek :p

  • Hey, badgrammar! If ever you are still here, I got a grip as you recommended me, and I had fun doing my own video on GLAST I released today on Youtube. You can find it in typing:

    "NASA | GLAST - a film"

    Thanks for the advice.

  • Interesting

  • boring

  • La mezcla de música e imagen son excelentes en su composición y acoplamiento.

  • the backgroud music sounds really naive.. and odd, sometimes

  • I agree totally! I am going to stop it in a tick. It's trying for "2001" but falling off the edge of the earth!

  • Well Done!

  • So much spammer.

  • pretty music

  • its like the TRON theme

  • It does sound like a combination of the old "Twilite Zone" and the new "Lost" theme music.

  • like nails on a chalkboard. Terrible.

  • Good work.

  • Всё бы ничего, но музыка, точнее какафония, всё убило!

  • wht is it all abt ???????

  • Wow, this video was amazing! It was so interesting i liked it a lot.

  • the music is really REALLY annoying had to stop it

  • I loved the music. But you cant tell me that the video was annoying! It was great, wasnt it?

  • ahh yes yes just the music ! :)

  • I would have expected better from the NASA.

This critic relates to creativity, as to the music which doesn't suit the whole thing.

    I'm surprised.

  • yeah, it's too bad they wasted their energy on actually building and launching the thing rather than making a 10 minute video on youtube for you to enjoy.

    get a grip.

  • You misunderstood my point, badgrammar. The NASA can be considered as the most prestigious institution on earth, and so it has an obligation of quality in everything it does; image and communication included.

I worked for 15 years in communication and I consider that if the NASA does the best men can do on earth, then everyone in this institution is supposed to be up to the task.

One does not pick a pair of Adidas sport shoes with a $2000 suit, and that's what I meant.

    No offense.

  • The progress NASA is making on the manned voyage to the surface of the sun is remarkable, we should be there by 2015. They will be attaching a ginormous extension cord from the sun to the earth to deliver free energy for everyone! good luck guy's

  • Nicely done!

  • maybe the universe is a giant fake

    we live in a matrix~

    :)

  • lmao :P

    yur comment made me laugh.

i agree with you tho :P

  • wow the satellite's use gamma rays, that's impressive progress. that explains the highly detailed photo's they take.

  • I'm not going to bother correcting you.

    FAIL.

  • so ignorant, it's a shame really. you know einstein was a genius, here's one of his quotes that I truly enjoy and will always be correct. "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." ~Albert Einstein

  • good video, but the music is slow and boring..

  • awsome video

  • Great job and a great idea! As a brass player (Hi Ray!), astronomy enthusiast and proponent of basic science missions such as GLAST, I think this is a great way to combine science, art and public outreach and education for important science missions such as this one!

  • Sheet music please. =P

Really, my friends and I can populate a brass quintet, this sounds like it'd be fun to play. Especially for lead trumpet. =)

  • pretty cool but a little too long ofr the average youtube user's attention span.

  • Is this their LAST mission?

  • bretty cool scintific vid but soundtrack is bad

  • The background music was tranquil yet scary yet enchanting....

  • must*

  • thats what i wanna say.. i thought it was a documentary haha

  • interesting, but makes as much sense as Space Oddesy 2001.

  • i felt like i'm watching a video that aliens explaining their technologies...very good music

  • space is turly amazing I try to learn all about space b/c i was still interesting in it but man it was hard to learn about it. But i'm still interesting in it to take a tripe one day into space. it prolly be amazeing to live on the moon, I know i would more safer then from damn terrorist.

  • Space. The final frontier.

    Beam me up,Scotty.

  • si es verdad, la musica es cualqiera

  • my brain just exploaded out of my nose

  • this was stupid

  • the music scares me =S

  • stop it... i get scared!!!!. is the world really coming to its end? i dont wanna see this anymore. ahhhhhhhh i dont know what to do ahhhahhhh. somebody help ahhhhhhhhhh.
