  • lovely thanks! x

  • Thank you John. I really appreciate your efforts to simplify these things. As an adult going back to school I have been really worried about the math I forgot and was never really good at in the first place. You're a great help.

  • thank you ur the only person who understans

  • thanks u answered my question

  • Great video, thanks for all info. it made it easy for me to understand...it is so embarrassing asking employees the percentage of the item that is on sale..Now I feel confident and no need to ask. Thanks very much, well done.

  • Why is it that this other dude in YouTube did it way different and when tried doing it this way on his vid, it didn't workout and made confused?

  • Thank you so much, I never looked at percents as a logic-type thing....This is awesome!

  • Thank you for posting this. Very clear and not intimidating!

  • Very helpful! I just took the GED test last month.. I got my scores back yesterday and I passed everything BUT MATH :/ I'm working on my math and this helped alot! Thanks!

  • you have no idea how much this video has put me at ease!! everything seems so hard but you explain it perfectly!! i have a GED test in 10 days & am terrified about the math... thank you soooooooo much!!

  • can you do any videos on reverse percentages? Like figuring out how much percentage of a tip someone gave? So far I found that using 10 percent as a starting place, then counting up the ones place up or down helps me figure it out. like 6.40 is 10% of 64 bucks..if someone tiped 8 bucks (2 bucks extra) i add to ones place to make 12 %

  • @zjayzjay I will consider making a video. But in the meantime, $8 is 12.5% of $64. Look at it this way, 8 goes into 64 8 times. That is 1/8th. 8 divided by 1 is .125 times 64 is 8. 10% of 64 is $6.40. 2% is $1.28. That equals $7.68. How much is missing? 32 cents, with is equal to .5% of 64. I did this all in my head with pen or paper. You can do it too.

  • Just thought I should add that you are doing a great service. Much apprciated!

  • how is 25 as a fraction 0.4?

    Its definately 1/4.. but 0.4.. wouldn't it be 0.25

  • @888berg Instead of multipying by 25, I divide by 4. It works just as well.

  • thank you

  • Thanks
