Maybe it's coz I just hit the big 50,but boy do I ever miss the 80s.It was music with a capital M.Ok,there's some good quality stuff around today,but it's pretty soul-less in the main.Vocalists like Moyet actually sounded like they were interested in the lyrics & it shows in her singing.Up there with Britain's best performers.

The 80s were so cruel, they took away the things we loved, Adam Ant, Duran Duran, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Nik Kershaw, Soft Cell, Human League and replaced them with Pet Shop Boys, A-ha,Bros, Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue. Yeah, thanx late '80s.
