  • Legit tears. -3 I love you.

  • wow your parents are so supportive!

  • son i am disapoint, ( jk )

  • i used to be stright then i took to ass

  • I am so scared to come out.

  • @Gleelover786221 it isn't as bad i just came out 2 days ago and i was so nervous. when i came out i was just praying that my friends and family would accept me, and they did so don't worry about it. if they don't accept you then they aren't worth being your friends and you will always have your family.

  • @PwnageGobeProduction People Shouldn't have to have a "Coming Out". It shouldn't be that big of a deal.

  • @PwnageGobeProduction Me too. Are you a guy or girl?

  • @Gleelover786221 guy why

  • @PwnageGobeProduction I just wanted to know if I was talking about this with a guy. Only because I am a guy too.

  • i guard tears in the eyes. so beutiful

  • I knew you were gay the second you said you loved Lady Gaga, didn't have to be told that's why I didn't watch this xD

  • wow, you are really something. it's brave of you to come out like that. c:

i wish you the best. <3

  • @roy writer omfg thats horable you should go to hell for that i am bi and i loved this story but holy shit !!!!!!

  • Such a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing.

  • I think I decided to come out on Valentines day as Lesbian ^-^ can't wait.

  • I hate when people who have known their sexuality all their lives say "you can't just decide one day that you're *insert sexuality here*". It's not like that. You don't always know from the start. I'm not saying anything bad about ericos, I'm just saying. ALSO, you can't possibly know your sexuality until you've tried dating and having intercourse with both genders. The only exception is transsexualism.

  • HA my life is shit.. XD at least i have my good humur... -_- ur lucky ur parents are understanding... they love u nomatter what i wish u the best and good luck :)

  • i wish i could tell the world that im bi.. my mom knows and so do 4 of my friends but thats it... if i tould my dad he would beat me to death and a LOT of my friends are homophobic. im also bipolar LOL and have constantant suicidal thoughts... i've tryed "turning" straight but its a slow process that DOSENT exist. i have lived through several hardships that i would not wish my worst enemy... i dont know if this is trauma for being raped in the past and ive prayed to god crying to change me but..

  • I just... don't understand. What is so wrong with being gay? Is it because people feel vunerable around them? They shouldn't flatter themselves. I guess its hard to figure that even gay people can have standards *sarcasm*.

Is it just because it isn't normal? That because its different? If thats the case, then grow up.

Seriously, I honestly can not understand why. You're thought?

    Well done btw ^-^

  • @rynashley Relax it's a copy pasta, i'm only kidding.

  • HI! my name's Angle, 13, and Puerto rican. i told my mom i was gay but she didnt take me seriously. she kept say "your NOT gay!"... then i got started dating on xbox live. i added my boyfriend on Facebook and then the unthinkable happened... she found the dirty messages we sent eachother. we were in deep love with eachother. Now i dont have xbox live or Facebook. and to this day, she is still convincing me to be straight. there's a reason to all this though, im in an extremely Catholic family

  • I got my guts together and said "Ma', I don't like guys. I like the opposite. :]" Then she made this disgusted face and was like "You're just a confused girl. Know that this kind of stuff goes against god. Once you're older, you'll stop."

Well that was a shut down! x'D

My ma won't accept it, I ended up hurting her, and I'm supposly going to Hell. Out of those 3, I hated the 2nd one the most. And my older siblings don't care. Maybe my sis, but meh. At least I got my friends?? :'D

  • I think it's funny how homophobics search for videos of gay people on YouTube only to comment on how much they "hate" them.

I'm straight and support gays. *Insert rainbow flag here*

  • I'm not gay but im fine with gay people

  • @EUploaded Thank you! It's nice to hear somebody say that they feel that way!

  • @RoyWriter Wow and who do you think you are? Quite a hurtful statement but you must be a very miserable person...:-(

  • i think its great that gays come out the closet, good for them! plus that equates to 1 more pussy for me, lol

  • @whatsgoingon07 lol good one!

  • my friend matt timson is gay hes rly freaking gay

  • Ericos .. been watching a bunch of your stuff this morning .. I just discovered you today .. oddly enough I've been trying to learn dutch now for several months now..

( i have a flirt in the netherlands ) your lessons really work .. seeing the word in both english and the dutch spelling .. then hearing it spoken clearly .. is better than any online lesson I've ever found .. thanks SO much

  • beautifully done Ericos .. your very fortunate that you have such great parents .. I'm very happy for you .. good luck in everything you do =D

  • I really liked ur video(-: I've known I was gay sence 4th grade in 2004. Now it's 2011 I'm in 11th. I came out in the last year of 7th. It was really hard! But I did it.

  • Good for you, Sparky. But why do you feel some motivation to alert the world, when the world doesn't give a healthy shit one way or the other? Live your life, be happy, bring no harm to others, and try to accomplish something every now and then along the way. It's the best that any of us can do. But don't waste our time.

  • im straight but i have a kid at my school that came out to me and his other friends beforer his parents and i just have a lot of respect for the people who just come out instead of trying to act straight to hide it theres nothing wrong with you its normal

  • Ericos, your coming out story really shook me up but in a great way. For those of us older we did not have so easy and it divided us from our families for many years. I felt the fear you felt for many years. You are so lucky to have enlightened parents.I could not listen to your story w/o getting very emotional, even to tears. I am so happy you will not have to live years like I had to. You can get on with your life and be the best you can be. God bless U sweetie, my best to you always.

  • Thank you so much for putting this video on here. I came out on October 20, 2010 right after watching your video. Your video really inspired me to come out myself. You're great and forget the people on here with negative comments because they're little bitches anyways lol thats why they have to hide behind a computer. Thanks again :)

  • Your awesome Ericos! I've been subbed to you at least 4 years now and enjoy every video you do wether I can understand the language or not. Hope you are doing well ad in good health!

  • 4625mob i hope you because i have respect for this Guy

  • hey ericos, u mothefucking flamer, u are probably the gayest thing ive seen all day. i hope u die from having gay buttsex and getting AIDS. Faggot.

  • @iHateUglyKidsOnUTube

    I hope you die!!

  • how do you add things like ericos at the top of the video?

  • i like ur stry its a very crusal time when u wnt to come out its really nerve racking :)

but i found its easier to come out to friends then family bcuz u dnt live wit ur friends i came out to friends in 7th grade so i was like 12 and i came out saying tht i was bisexual but thts bcuz my best friend i loved her but i wasnt exactly in love wit love wit her so i told evryone i was gay and yeah but i havnt told my mom yet or my brothers or my sister but im terrified and dnt know how

  • You didn't know what gay was until you were 15...? Wow. Someone's a bit too sheltered.

  • Thankyou for sharing this, and your an amazing inspiration for others not only scared of dealing with their sexuality but for anyone facing a reality that is hard to overcome. :)

  • you rock lekker your great thankxs for helping me learn dutch

  • i love your coming out story ... but i am afraid to come out because the last time i was writting something about a guy i love my mom read it and she got mad and she said i cant be that i am a Catholic and she took me to a psychologist she think tham i am straight . And the worse part is that i go to all boy school

  • i really admire u for doing this,if only all gay people were that honest with themselves, friends and family, there would be more truly happy people then!

  • We love you Ericos for helping us learn some dutch......I deeply admire you.......

We love you as who you are.......

  • This sounds great...but I grew up in a small, corrupt, racist, homophobic little town, and my entire family are hardcore christians. My Mom and Dad have said (in conversations I overheard) that if they ever had a son that was gay they would disown him and not except their lifestyle. I have told my brother and my uncle and they understood and supported me but they grew up in southern CA. and my uncle is gay too. My point is that I wish I came out along time ago but it was/is almost impossible.

  • Respect <3

  • im watching this with my girlfriend... ha

  • lucky hahahaaaa good jod

  • It's ite I'm bi sexual....... Not fucking faggit

  • still love u =]

  • im 13 and im out

  • @airboy1997

    >.>

13 is far too young in my opinion to have a good understanding of your own sexuality.

Instead of say you are gay you should just consider it a possibility. Unlike what the lay public would lead you to believe, homosexuality is not a predetermination of one's biochemistry. It's an aspect of a social culture. It's our experiences and how we view our experiences that determine wither we find the same sex attractive.

You are 13, give it more time before you label yourself.

  • @alontes No offence but if you've kissed both genders and like guys better and only go out with girls im pretty sure u know because i have kissed oth genders and like guys better. and dont tell me its a fase iv been gay since i was like 10

  • @RainbowMonkeySock

    No offense taken.

Of course one can feel that they like male sexual interaction more at the age of ten

However it is illogical to determine that oneself is homosexual based exclusively on this kissing test or even several tests. This is because like I said, "homosexuality is not a predetermination of one's biochemistry."

Homosexuality is determined by our experiences or in other terms our personality and just like how our personality is variant to change so is homosexuality

  • @alontes bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jhr459

    If you say so Jhr259.

  • @alontes I do say so and it is from personal experience and from anecdotal evidence from many, many, many friends. I did not mean though to be so sharp as I see that you are not being offensive in your position. If you really want to talk about it at length, I can do that, but if this is a one time posting event, that's OK too.

  • It is impossible to me to accurately express myself when I have a limitation of 480 characters for these messages.

The complexities of psychological, sociological concepts cannot be accurately expressed here. Not to mention concepts of genetics and physiology.

If you want to have a discussion in greater depth then let me know, because everything I've said so far is a complete superficial expression of the true consensus on these various topics.

  • hey youtube im a gay hommo faget bitch. i want to suck a dick and get jizz on my face . who wants to do that for me. im coming outta the colset from now on.

  • Hi Erico, I am 22 and I have not come out. I didn't really knew I am gay until I was like 17 (kind of late I know), after that I went into series of depression and kept it a secret for 4 long years before I went abroad to study. I had a good year at oversea, spoke to a few people, went to counselling and show up in a few gay scene, but now that I am back at home, I find myself struggling again with the same old issue, I haven't spoke to anyone in my family yet. what can i do?

  • i wish i was brave like him! i cant take this anymore! i want to come out to the world already!

  • You're in Holland though, of alllll the places to be gay, it's definitely the most welcoming. You've got the Gay Pride Festival.

  • Vind het goed van je dat je nu ook in hèt engels je coming out verhaal heb opgenomen een vriend van mij in Frankrijk kent je zelfs :p

  • my auntie disowned me, same with the people i called family =[

  • @RedTeamSniper then why did you wtch it?

  • 'you're still our son, we love you to death' I cried once hearing this. you've got amazing parents.

  • i disagree with the quote a bit

    who are people exualy ?

somme totaly dont at like they are, and all of them atleast keep somme things secret

    you never know someone totaly

people dont love you for who you are, they love you for how you act

    thats my line

and sadley, i realy beleve its true :(

  • um, ok, so ive told my skol im gay, but im 2 scared 2 tell my parents. this is so hard. i need ur help. help me plz

  • @178650 When I came out, I made sure of where my family stood on the issue, just bring it up in conversation and ask them what they think about the gay community, if it's positive, pick the right moment, and then tell them, that's what happend with me, turns out my Mum had known for years lol

If negative, then I'd wait a while, wait when you can move out and start to make a living and support yourself by your own means.

You'll have to tell them eventually, it's just a case of when :)

  • @designkid5555 well i told my parents, and i found tht they were both understanding. but my mom is kinda freaked out about it. but she's fine. i thank you very much for your help.

  • I am so proud of you that you came out. I just wanted to know how to tell my family.

  • I glad you have an accepting family. Mines on the other hand different story. Oh fucking well :P..

  • Your parents are so right Eric, it's completely OK to be your true, honest, beautiful self, and the world is lucky to have you. ♥

  • dude thats one heck of a story my dads gonna kill me when find he a super religious freak but my mom will be more understanding about my sexuality this made me cry your a brave one im super scared and nervous i plan to come out today tho it feels right

  • WHAT THE HELL, lucky bastard

not one person was upset or disappointed... i'd probably get thrown out of the house

  • My mom just didn't believe me at first.....then she met my boyfriend haha, My dad was angry and didn't talk to me for a week but now he's over it. My friends were pretty excepting. I was being bullied at school, and when news got out that I was gay it got a lot worse. It felt better to be out though.

  • coming out of the closet is gay

    hahaha the irony

  • i have an addiction 2 penis

  • I really need help im 12 but im so scared! to come out and tell my freinds already know (i have a crush on one) but emm i cant tell my parents...Help plz

  • you're cute ;)

  • You are just too cute, Your coming out story was really inspiring. I dont know when can I come out to my parents. :/

  • Its great when parents and family are understanding of sexuality. There is too many familes who go off the rails and disown their children. Its very sad that it happens!

My mother is 100% ok with me being bi, My dad I met three years ago and he seems ok with it. I don't know how he would react if I got a girlfriend though.

Its a very confusing time, but once its out there it feels like the whole world has been lifted from your shoulders.

  • I have that shirt

  • @fivefingerdiscounts dude thats mean stopp im gay too all the gays will come after you

  • @ssssssssssssssssssss and rape him in the ass just for expressing his opion

    rasict bastard :D

  • @DMMMhelper1of3 I'm a straight girl, and I think you should jump off a bridge, asshole. And fivefingerdiscounts wasn't expressing his opinion, he/she was also being as asshole. There's a difference between expressing your opinion and acting like a bitch.

  • @fivefingerdiscounts thumbs up for you

    death to all of them

  • hey this fag is from the netherlands

hey in belgium, know that there is atleast one person that you woudnt like to hhave near you

  • i told my bff( a girl) that i´m gay and she was cool with me. Also, i told my grandma( the person in my family that loves me the most, and i love her too, and her reaction was a bit weird cuz it almost seemed like she said i accept you but you are still young, you are confused, why don´t you hang out with girls more often? and i was like -.-´ . but i´m ok now my feelings were a bit hurt at the time, i´m still a bit sad with her but i´m trying to move on. Hugz to you ;)

  • @fullvictory fucking fag, kill youreself

  • @DMMMhelper1of3 homophobe. -_-" why don't you find something better to do that doesn't involve hating on people that don't have any affect on your life whatsoever? pathetic.

  • @luxord2654 dont worrie i will tomorrow

i already posted everywhere now i think no then ?

  • @DMMMhelper1of3, hum.....no! by the way, if u really are str8, then what are yo dojng here, commenting this video??? get a life bro, peace.

  • @fullvictory because the stopthegayhatelist is an no life spamer and stalker of my favorit vids, so i just spam every gayvid i can find with my opinion

  • Jullie zijn zelfverzekerd :D

  • @Farmerz245 we've all been there! You'll be okay, I promise! If you need help there are alot of people you can talk to on YouTube.

  • Im 12 amd really scared to tell my parents one of my steps are gay but she a grl and i really need advice soo if any1 can get back to me on this i wud appreciate u dearly

  • Aren't the netherlands like really tolerant? I'm associating them with Sweden and Norway.

  • Wat een mooie video !

    Echt..

En herkenbaar. Ik durfde het ook niet te vertellen vroeger, en toen ging mijn moeder net als jouw ouders vragen stellen..

Alle geluk en goeds voor jou!

  • well its nice that you have an understanding parents well my mum will kill me if i admit it xD

  • out of the topik question r you dutch?

  • My parents would freak if I told em cuz there very religious and they know I am but not completely cuz I had a vid of 2 guys kissing and my dad saw and I cried for hours cuz he was yelling

  • that´s why youve got friends:D

  • Great story thanks! It is difficult, but it feels so much better once you do come out. Like Eric said. Find someone you really trust, and they will accept you for who you are.

  • How I wish that my parents were like yours :'(

  • Hey. Hope this doesn't appear on my channel but I want to tell my parents im gay and im 13. It so stressful I get depressed at times. I use to go to this therapist and Im going back to her for help on how to tell my parents. Any advice,,,,,Thanks!! :)

  • That was the most beautiful story I have ever heard. Your family is great ; thank you for sharing your experience. I wish my experiences were similar, but the puritan crap in my American culture is very ugly sometimes. I am very happy for you.

  • the only place where i am openly gay.so i think she knows! :\ tht was a stupid move!

  • I didnt know it but i have some really great friends tht except me for who i am and see past the fact tht i am lesbian.and they all said the same thing:"Well thats shocking news, but it doesn't matter cuz ur still my friend" i have gotten this from all my friends tht i came out to.and i didnt think i had this many great friends, but there they were, standing right behind me the entire time.and i think i accidentally outed myself to my mom,cuz i left the my youtube channel up.

  • im in 10th grade, im 15 n me too, i told my mom at 12 midnight and well i told her that i am bisexual and her reaction was not what i expected, im still not accepted by my mom, almost everyone knows but my dad, and i know my dad is not gonna accept it, he is very strict considering he was a soldier, and i told her like 7 days ago and is like as soon as i told her i turned invisible for her, my friends all of them not even one has rejected me, i just dont understand why my parents cant accept me

  • ik denk dat je heel veel mensen hiermee hebt geholpen (ik think you help a lot of peaple!)

  • Hallo Ericos. Mijn naam is Matt en ik woon in Australie. Ik was geboren in nederland.

Thats all the dutch I know. Anyway, your story is very inspiring. While I am not gay myself, I am a huge gay supporter. I don't see what the big deal is. It is not something they can do anything about. It is like the colour of your skin, you are kind of stuck with it, so why not embrace it.

Anyway keep up the good work, en heb en goede dag.

  • im in 11th grade im afraid if i come out 2 my guy friends they wont except me....ugh its so stressful...ive been depressed for a week because i dont feel comfortable with myself.....plz reply back or message me and tell me what i can do about my problem.....

  • @shakeit7353 Never forget to be yourself and remember that you're beautiful the way you are! I always tell people: Only the people who REALLY love you, will respect you as you are.

  • @shakeit7353 hey dude don't worry about it so much. Is there some reason why they have to know your gay??You don't have to rush coming out to anyone, come out to your guy friends when you can over come the fear to.And being gay is not completely who you are its only your sexuality. My biggest advice to anyone when coming out to a guy friend is wait until senior year or until you finish highschool because you may never see these people again.why come out if you feel like its going to mess up a

  • @shakeit7353 good high school year? i think you should take it a day at a time and not think about it so much when you're around them. And why feel uncomfortable with yourself when they feel comfortable with you???please dude just don't let coming out around this time in your life control it.That was my biggest mistake.

  • @shakeit7353 eat some pussy

  • @shakeit7353 first you need to slash your tiny cock off you fucker. then turn it inside out and take some estrogen pills. wear a wig and high heels.. youll feel very normal you asshole

  • @shakeit7353 hey youtube im a gay hommo faget bitch. i want to suck a dick and get jizz on my face . who wants to do that for me. im coming outta the colset from now on.

  • @MrGuerrerojorge you tell 'em girl! lolz :D

  • @shakeit7353 u wont lose ur guy friends when u come out the ppl u lose jst said they were ur friends but dont do it if u dont feel ready dont be depressed express urself i knw how u feel some friends take it well like most of mine did bt who doesnt like u after never rlly were ur true friends. <3

  • @shakeit7353 Hey. Yeah, I completely agree with ericos. You need to be who you are. If they don't accept you then they are not your real friends. Be comfortable with yourself. My friend and his boyfriend came out to me not too long ago and I love him to death, nothing could make me hate that boy. If you are not comfortable coming out to them yet, don't rush anything. Be who you are. Live. Love. Life.

    -KittenCat.

  • hey dude, i just came across your video, i cried haha, i found out a year ago that im bi. i have told my friends but none of my family members. i know that my mother wont mind, but im afraid that my dad will not love me any more. :( xxx

  • OMG this story just makes me want to hug something SOOOO MUCH!!! (grabs a pillow) x3

  • @luxord2654 try my dick

  • proud of you that you dare to say this on youtube ! be brave be yourself

  • Awh awesome om te horen eric ! Echt !

Je zit nu btw lekker in mexico ! Damn lucky you !

    Spreeek je !

  • It's not fair!!!!!!! You've been overlucky ..... really

  • Ericos, you are cool !!! I've some friends who are gay but that dont change my prespective of them in any way.I love them to bits and people should be more open, this is the 21st Century.

  • I found your channel through the Dutch lessons (they're great), and then found this video. I'm glad the coming out process was smooth for you. I suppose in Western Europe people are much more tolerant, and I'm happy for you. Here in South America there are still many people who would hate you just for who you are. This is still a weird world.

  • just came out yesterday to my sista and this morning to my mother, but it s stil a little bit weird to talk about everything with them , , , , i am happy that they accepted me

  • I love you, Ericos! I admire your strength, and I'm proud of you. :) By the way, I'm Dutch, too, but I'm from America. :( Someday I want to visit the home of my great-grandparents in beautiful Holland.

  • Leuk dat je je verhaal op youtube hebt achtergelaten. Het is leuk om ook eens een Nederlander te zien met een coming-outverhaal. Ik ben 17 en bezig met mijn eigen coming out. Dank je voor het filmpjes.

Nice to see your story here. I'm dutch and I am glad to see a dutch coming out story.

By the way Tarateesh such response is really pathetic. Don't waist your time talking that bullshit and hurting people's feelings.

  • @Tarateesh Why don't you go first, you backwards-thinking monster. Maybe you should spend some time figuring out what happened in your life to fill you with such fear and hatred? I feel sorry for you, Tarateesh. You're small-minded and ignorant. It's people like you who are to blame for all the hatred, murder, rape, war, and terror in this world. How sad for we who have evolved beyond whatever you are; how sad for we who walk upright and can read; how sad that you didn't die at birth.

  • @Tarateesh hahahahhahaha that's what i was trying to tell them

  • @Tarateesh Why don't you jump off a bridge. You gay hating idiots don't deserve a life on this Earth. Go to hell and don't come back. I hope you get hit by a car, same with all of your pathetic family. You make me sick.

  • Eric, you are amazing for sharing this the way you did. Your a brave person and I truthfully think your the kind of person people should look up to. I remember when I had to tell my close friends I was bi, I wasn't scared but it still made me nervous of what they would think of me after it. I still need to tell my parents but you have made me really want to get it out there. So Dank u wel.

  • ... So... Are you gay?

  • Thats one of the perks of euro families, they're less mean and dont tend to judge people, ofcourse theres always something but comparing to america, well u know the rest...

  • your cool

  • sigh, im still too afraid to tell my family and friends that im bi :(, ever since the 5th grade i discovered my intrest in girls and guys

  • Your story was beautiful and it made me tear up a little. I was very touched and I'm very happy for you.

  • @gazbradshaw hahahahahahahhahahaahhah

  • @vamian950 i bet you'd suck this faggots poop dick wouldn't you you'd lick the thing clean and then let him pack your fudge some more
