  • Original Adele sound?

  • So what she didn't show legs. She was about the singing.

You want to see flesh stick with the singers of today.

  • i love this lady. blue eyed soul!

  • Too bad She Never Showed Her Beautiful Legs!!

I Only Saw Them Once. Oh Well,

Looking At Her Face & Hearing Her Voice Made Up For It.

  • wonderful :))) ktf

  • Dusty looking and sounding ever so classy.

  • the music was better before

  • her voice is so creamy, so perfect to my ear, it's just a pleasure to listen....can't resist smiling.....love her little dances....what a gift she is to us....thank you dusty...

  • yes she is lovely

  • she is so lovely here..

  • i prefer dustys version...love it..she is so loely

  • I'm still here listening Dusty, God Bless yer lass, R.I.P. Ray ♥

  • Hi Ray....another song I haven't heard of Dustys...love this.....I'm going to learn all these songs of Dustys...specially for you...this is a happy song..love it...makes me want to dance...love to dance too...so happy to know you Ray!!!!!

  • Can we stop the squabbling over Dusty and Aretha and just agree that The Sweet Inspirations did the best version of this song ;)

  • NOPE! We can't agree to that

  • Aw, shoot!

  • What about Tiny Tim?... his version was pretty kickin'.

  • @jemb2000 I guess there's some sense in this post.

  • @jemb2000 Not this song

  • I agree, two artists can both do excellent versions of the same song. Some like one version better than than the other for any number of reasons...but that doesn't mean that it's empirically "better" because it's a matter of personal taste.

Dusty and Aretha were contemporaries with great respect for each other and their singing abilities. I like Aretha's version and Dusty's version, but for different reasons. They had different styles and that's what makes the world interesting IMHO.

  • What beautiful eyes.

    Love yer Dusty R.I.P Ray♥ X X X

  • Love this track!...thanks

  • You can never get tired of listening to Dusty's distinct voice, that makes every song she sings sound so good.

  • Dusty was the greatest of them all.

    Nobody else comes close.

  • Just wanted to point out that if this show truly aired on the night of August 29, 1967, no wonder people missed a great night of Dusty.

Aug. 29 of '67 was the same night everyone in the States turned their sets to ABC to see the last episode of "The Fugitive."

  • Did Dusty's show air in the U.S.A?

  • Wasn't alive then. Not sure. Hope so. :)

  • ALL HAIR IS IN.EVEN THE BEEHIVE

    MARY

  • STOP! Both are grand interpretations. We miss you Dust.

  • Sorry but I tend to disagree..If you like screaming through a song, and you call that singing well thats your taste.RIP DUSTY..

  • Please Aretha never screamed on that song. he was in her middle register and Aretha's rearrangement and her voice is better thans Dusty's RIP.

  • no rearrangment i mean arrangement.

  • Like i said before Dusty's version is good but Aretha's version takes the throne. No one knows how to sing a song like Aretha or write and arrange a song like her either.

  • i can see where never gonna all agree! so lets leave it hear!

You like aretha (so do i) and we love dusty! thats all!

  • I think you better hear Arethas version again.

Just because she wrote the song does'nt mean

she sings it better .Sorry Dustys versions the best..

  • In this case and any case for that matter, Aretha sings it better. Aretha's version is the best. Dusty does a good job with it but it's not as amazing as Aretha's,

  • I just heard Aretha franklins version did'nt like it, she just screams all through it.

I think Dusty does a better job of the song.

    RIP Dusty.

  • Please Aretha version is the best. RIP Dusty but Aretha wrote this song and Aretha's version is the best.

  • Dusty covered this Aretha song on her album Where Am I Going - It is truly gorgeous version that could not sung better - even by the great Aretha. Both artists had beautiful distinct voices so let's not put one quibble

  • I respect Dusty but nothing tops Aretha's version. But i got great respect for Dusty.

  • That hairstyle is going to make a comeback any day now...

  • I don't know but I think this is my number one favorite song of Dustys, just love it.Thank you for posting..

  • Do you have the Aretha Franklin version??

  • its on her i never loved a man the way i loved you album she was the one that wrote the song with ted white

  • Thanks so much for all of these Gferdinandus.

All wonderful of course - only one Dusty.

  • Cool excellence from the Queen of Pop.
