Maria made his life happy and easy but not complete! Nobody and nothing can touch the love that ben and meg shared together, not annie,tim, derek, tess, benji even not Maria.And no matter what Ben didn`t fall in love with Maria again!
First love is special because is the first but not always the most powerful and true-just like BEN and Maria! Ben loved Meg more than he ever loved Maria!! And even MARIA told BEN MEG is the woman he loves, ALWAYS WILL BE and they belong together forever!

He knew how much Maria have suffered because of his love for Meg, because of not remembering Beji, and try to help her deal with it! The fact is that Ben was never Maria`s after this boat accident! We can see Ben and Meg's chemistry right from the word go and I for one couldn't wait for them to be together. Everything was building up to that moment. And I don't think it's possible to say Ben loved Maria more than he loved Meg.He ended up with Meg because he loved her and she was his only one !

i used to watch this with my best (soul) mate over ten years ago now, we'd get stoned and watch the omnibus in absolute hysterics, some of the best times for me. we would then take on different characters and do our own renditions. we had to start taping it so we could replay some of the most awful acting and dialogue, so bad it was genius.
