The one thing that amazes me about the Right Wing is that many of them don't want to debate issues. They rather just scream and use venom. Ask them why they don't like obama and they will say he is a anti-patriotic muslim etc etc. If somebody asked me why i'm not voting for mccain I'll be able to stand up and say I don't agree with his policy and be able to respectfully disagree and argue not just throw out rumors and half truths out.

You have a good argument, but it's not impossible. I.e. France has a social healthcare system that costs 1/2 the amount of american, and is rated 1st in the world by the WHO. America can accomplish any goal if it has the will to. Doesn't something like that sound like a good idea?

Actually,I don't know the French system.I have spoken with British doctors who say that,because health care is free or very inexpensive, folks come to the clinic or practise with a hang nail.We do see this in our country with those on Medicare and/or Medicaid. "Hey it is free so I'll get my aspirin at the Docs." This clutters the system.And,being an American, I'm not too secure in believing WHO.I'm not hearing of people from around the world going to France for health care.They do come here.

History doesn't show that.Only the wealthy and the powerful will have the type of health system that a majority of us now have. As far as I know,no person is ever rejected from a hospital or other medical care,no one.I read that in the socialist countries the wait for various operations or treatment can be months.I wouldn't want it here.If our health care is so terrible,why do people wait in line to get into this country? The system can be improved but not trashed. Socialism isn't the answer.
