I always watch movies of superheroes, but the x-man is definitely my absolute favorites!

@ToruFinalFantasy The last few movies definitely did not measure up to consistency with the comics and it's one of reasons why before X-Men First Class came out I was apprehensive and while they still did mess around with the comics history and I'm not pleased about that, they did manage to create a more compelling and beautiful origins story for Xavier and Magneto than the comics ever did and that is the reason I truly love this movie, because they really built an amazing complex bond.

@ToruFinalFantasy They really did the Xavier/Magneto storyline well, but as for everything else, it leaves much room for improvement, I'm still rather pissed off but because of Michael and James's amazing performances, at least I was drawn into their story long enough not to really care about plot comic consistencies for most of the film. It's not easy to be consistent I understand that but it doesn't change that alot of the times it feels like they are butchering the comics.

@ToruFinalFantasy Honestly, if those two hadn't carried the movie and was so amazing, I don't think I would have loved this movie as much as I did. But because they were just so good, and their performances were so real and compelling and the writers for once actually wrote a meaningful and so tragic origins tale that the comics never touched on as much nor as powerful, it was actually a good story. I much prefer this Charles/Erik origins than the comics to be honest.
