I swear to you all when I write this. I shook Neil Degrasse Tyson's hand at my sister's graduation ceremony. He was a keynote speaker there and it was certainly a personal honor to see and meet an accomplished scientist in the flesh. I also got his picture too. Man, I'm the man!

I got a question about NOVA ;

Why can't i see the program , online, in canada? I don't really watch TV anymore and my only media source is the web, i get all the other PBS programs : Frontline , The news hours etc. but not NOVA , why?

Incidentally i <3 NOVA & PBS regardless ;)

It's because of the U.S. government. They're paranoid about spilling out scientific secrets to non-citizens. Whenever I visit the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, they have to check our U.S. citizenship. There was once a Russian guy with an expired visa that visited the lab, and then the SWAT team came over and tackled him down.
