sounds like a southern accent to me, mine's not as profound- most of the time I don't even notice it. But every once in a while, you meet a yankee or a westerner, they catch on it quick, but compared to most, I don't. speakin of accents, ya know what bugs the shit outta me- the redneck accent- its sounds really southern but @ the same time, they put way 2 much emphasis on the Rs or ERs. typically i pronounce em as As like a Uhh sound, kinda from GA, ya here it on old folks, like grandparents.

The Army can change your accent since when your enlisted there are people that you work with from all over the country. I grew up with the Boston accent my whole life but when I came out of the Army I had more of a southern accent. Now since I've been out for a few years I've developed a mix between the Boston accent as well Southern. It's kinda unique and people comment on it all the time, just as I'm sure they do to you. I like yours BTW, it's different and nobody else can claim it besides you
