@abowlofsoda no, it isn't. it makes sense if you know the entire story of deloused in the comatorium. this song is the part in the story when cerpin taxt kills himself and the monkey sounding things in the intro are just that. they are tarsiers, which are almost extinct and are known to commit suicide when they are kept in captivity. so the intro isn't a waste, it all has to do with the concept.
