@lazertechsolutions : I think it's an extremely versatile package. It allows you to do almost anything you want with the engine management. The drawback is that it allows you to do almost anything with the engine management so deciding what will work best for your particular setup can be a bit consuming. Once you decide all of the details, the wiring in and first start come pretty quickly. Tuning is of course an absolute requirement and you can either do drive-tuning or dyno. It's good.
I'm glad I came across this video! I'm planning to do a megasquirt on my 20V Silvertop as well. Just didn't expect it to be so complicated even before buying. The MS guy has asked me tonnes of questions. Will you be able to guide me on this journey to MS-charge my silvertop? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
@xgrapher : It's been such a long time since I worked on that project. I sold off the MS- and all of the wiring and sensors for it. I think the best place for information will be a forum called mr2oc.com. They have a forum specific for Megasquirt and Toyota engines.
my friend also has a similar project, but he used the Honda B16A engine. I think the Honda engine has much more potential than the the blacktop... try to view BAR PROTOTYPE
that would still really depend on the set-up, each engine has its own potential but the one is this not the blacktop, it's a 1st gen 4age silvertop...
Hello, I am using the same engine and ecu in my Sprite project, what are you using to trigger the ignition ? the EDIS wheel or the distributor ? I can share what I have done and see what works best
Okay as somebody who has been there, what was your overall impression about the MS. In terms of power and management?

if you are using a LC-1 make sure you're using the latest firmware. the 1.0 is doing this, not the latest one.
