My homeboy gave me an 86 model with 29,000 miles,his brother for some reason took the gas tank off and also I need to put on a throttle cable.Help me out!
can I ask you a few questions? how reliabile is the GSX-R1100? how abut the fuel consuption? how difficult is to ride one as a beginner? I'm thinking of buying one and i don't know many things about it. thank you! [excuse my english, i'm romanian]
@claoomotoheart I got one of theese from 1994. It's an awesome bike. To a beginner might not be that good because it's very powerfull and very heavy. 250kg.
@1100HondaCB well and remember to put some good and durable tires too. I had a soft tire at front, and it lasted 2 months. Now I've fell. but no great damages, some scratches and all..
@claoomotoheart i agree with 2Stoke, to add to that the gixerrr is a very reliable bike its like a tank, but if you start having carb problems just sell it, i would not recommend a 1100 for a beginner what so ever its a beast i have 1100 96, if your looking for a smart bike that you will enjoy than go for a 600cc.
i got a 94 1100w top fuckin bike..and its a fighter ,fuck the 750 scrad slug.lol

Fuel consumption the best I did was 6L to 100kms.
