Onething you need to understand is the uneducated class people who used to do agriculture in villages around bangalore. They have sold their lands for lacks 10 years ago without knowing that the city is growing and the land cost will be in crores in 5 years.

Many people lost their lands this way and as you know the lacks that they got is spent now given the cost of living in city today.

The people who are feeling cheated wouldnt have even improved even otherwise as they didnt know how to manage their assets and they are not improved today too with the change in Bangalore. They see their lands turned IT parks and feel cheated that the IT has ruined their life where they have lost the land (where they used to do occupation) and the livelyhood.
