  • @aleburghri & @fairiespiritgirl - THIS SONG IS FROM THE FILM 'DIL SE' DIRECTED BY MANI RATNAM

  • which movie is it can anyone tell me its name ?

  • @alybhurgri Its the movie dil se

  • @watsupboy19 thankyou bro

  • @alybhurgri Dil Se

  • What film is this?

  • it doesn't sound like Sharukhan sing this song

  • @RAnimeX1 Nope, it doesn't because he didn't sing the song.In Bollywood movies, the actors are not the ones singing the songs :)

    Movie: Dil Se (1998)

    Song: Dil Se Re

    Music Director: A.R. Rahman

Singers: A. R. Rahman, Anuradha Sriram, Anupama, Febi Man

(For the Hindi version, the main version of this song, like the video above. It's been recorded in Tamil and Telugu as well.)

...I hope you weren't just saying that it doesn't sound like SRK in reference to the voice suiting his voice. Lol.

  • I actually exhale at 4:39 to 4:41... man I feel them lyrics !

  • The lyrics of this song, its picturisation, SRK, the song itself give me goosebumps. I LIKE!!!!!

  • AR Rahman is LEGEND

  • That bridge when she comes running to his open arms in her lavender dress is just so beautiful. To love someone you can never have is one of the most beautiful and painful feelings ever. Dil Se..

  • well and beautifully said..

  • dil to akhir dil hai na, meeti si mushkil hai na, piya piya <3

  • Thank you KK for this wonderful video!

This is one of my favorite films and I'm certain it must have been challenging to make~on many levels. The complexity adds so many layers so the viewer may feel the burden each actor is portraying.

Excellent acting & directing with gorgeous music by Rahman. The beauty of a new love, also of a promised vow, set against the horrific suffering and struggles of war.

    A true masterpiece in cinematography : )

  • THEY SHOULD MAKE MORE SONGS LIKE THESE NOWW!

  • My all time Fav. song. AR did really good job in this song..:)

  • srk 's eyes !!!! love them <3

  • This video was shot at my hometown, chamba, himachal pradesh..... Me and my friends bunked classes to go watch them shoot the song.. only to find our teachers there... LOL... Nice memories though

  • @dineshkrsitm

Wow... :) That must have been awesome.. How long did they take to shoot this video? A lot of effort has been put into it.. Its to be seen itself.

  • @laypyu I remember going there for two days. I dont know for how many days they shot the song..... But i know the locations, its mainly chamba and Dalhousie ( army shots) .......

  • @dineshkrsitm lol thats so cooool :D

  • i like manisha..she is simple girl n not overact or makeover....she is best. than others

  • King Khan rulessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • Thank You! Best version!!! <3

  • love this song

  • I know, what Ia m gonan write would creat an uproar here but I have to. Considering its a Maniratnam movie, this was the most half baked, senseless movie he had ever directed. He tried to cater to the mass and did not make the movie dil se. Either make a commercial movie with a light topic that will apeal to everybody or make a movie with such serious depth and forget what people will think, just do it dil se.

The only highlight was Chhaiya Chhaiya song. Which is really sad. It had potential.

  • @sparklincyanide what u want to say?

  • i ve been looking for this movie with subtitle for a long time. It ll be great if u can upload it with subs. Thanks in advance.

  • HEART TOUCHING LOVELY COMPOSING AND CINEMATOGRAPHY

  • @pm1591989nd- Though I do on some level agree with your point. Especially in say the field of music. But as far as movies go. Lifting an idea from another movie or a novel can still lead to the creation of a fantastic film. One only needs to watch Omkara to know how it can be brilliantly adapted to our Indian context. It really depends on how far the production/direction/acting team is willing to go as far as I see.

  • best movie of all times with best ending.....

this movie's ending is most beautiful and powerful

those who have saw this movie may agree with me but i just love it!!!!!!!!!!

anyways it is very beautiful movie i dont understood why this film was a flop in india but hit in overseas market the audience may be an idiot who did not liked this film.................................................

best album of bollywood succeeded by roja and bombay thanx A R Rahman sir.............

  • @agr8donkey don't blame the western culture man....they make good quality contents...have you seen the most oscars or other awards won...they are, were, and will be making quality content... at least much better than the bloke of Indian film industry...

  • @pm1591989nd

i am not blaming western culture neither i am saying that their movies are not good, but we are distracted from our style of movies and we r losing our originality are classical contents and making simply the remakes of hollywood movies or from some novels, i just dont understand that why cant we appreciate our own style of filmmaking and create some beautiful films like this one .

i think that we simply appreciate newcoming actors just for thier looks and noting else

  • choreography in this song is the best!

  • brilliant combination of videography and music..., this is one of the depth-full and quality movies produced in India during the 90's...the 90's had depth...

  • @pm1591989nd

u r right man, the films of 90's were having meaningful contents, they were soulful and depth containing films but nowadays meaning less films and songs are coming in the markets like sheila and munni....

the movies of directors like mani ratnam has always given bollywood and kollywood good movies esp. dil se, roja ,bombay

now talentless people like katrina, imran, ranbeer, deppika are becoming popular, they are just rubbish and are bringing western culture to india

  • @agr8donkey totally agree, gone are the days when such deep and sensitive music was made and acting was a gift. the shit that you mentioned in the form of katrinaranbirimrandeepika shows just how much bollywood is deteriorating, it has lost out own culture and obsessed with nothing more than imitating the west, i wish they wouldnt call it bollywood in the first place as if it is the by-product of hollywood but then this is unfortunately the case now and bollywood's plopping out more fools by day

  • @jwala124 Atleast their is someone who really agrees with me and thats good

I am myself an teenager living in metro city with so called "Modern " people but they are also missing that depth which we use to feel in songs which are produced nowadays not even Rahman sir creates that kind of Touching music which he was creating in 90's and early 2000's so I feel quite disappointed and upset.

I wish Rahman returns with his previous charm and again revolutionize indian Music Industry as he did in 92

  • @agr8donkey somehow i have to agree with you, although his music these days are awe inspiring..i certainly miss the Rahman of the 90s.

  • my fav song..

  • i lUvv ziiis s0ng s0ooo mUch.............

  • Most beautiful bollywood song ever in my opinion - A.R. Rahman's voice, the harmonious voices of the female singers, the backing instruments, and most amazing - the lyrics by Gulzar - wow!
