you dont have 2 be a mathematician, really you dont have to know too much to solve this than the simple 3x3, it just takes patience, you need to know like 5 more things that are pretty simple

its all bout memory and conservation of sides and corners

this cube is just the 3x3 but double anyway so if you learn to solve the normal cube youll be able to do it all

Look how that thing holds it's shape. The layers don't get out of alignment and obstruct your moves. plus the stickers (are they stickers?) look heaps better than those on a rubik's cube.
