Weezer aren't selling out! Watch their interview from Reading 2010. Rivers clearly says that they aren't sell outs! Also, to all Pinkerton haters-you guys would probably moan about it if they didn't make an album like Pinkerton! And to everyone else, in the course of nearly 20 years and different life changing events, Weezer had to change at some point.

I dont get the Weezer "selling out" statement. They really havent changed much. Except the generation change. They can deversify their sound better than any band i can honestly think of. Bands who have sold out are bands like Linkin Park and Jimmy Eat World. Weezer are and always will be legends!! :D

He has a distinct sound from other drummers. When you play an instrument and someone could tell who you are just by hearing the music that comes from you, that makes you great. He shows that even though he sticks to his little beats on the albums, he also throws in some very advanced fills and shows some very advanced technique.

@nyboy010101 wrong. rivers wanted to be able to move around more and put on more of a show, so for the past year they hired a new drummer so that pat could play rivers guitar part. they did it so rivers could have more fun with each show

I have been a hardcore fan since blue up till maladroit. If Weezer wants to keep selling out and play only "highlight-setlists" at their shows whilst dressing up as panda bears and bugs for Yo Gabba Gabba, I will not pay for a ticket to see them. So if you disagree, that's cool, I'm in it for where it all began, not what they've become.
