  • @thebipolarpolarbear why must people use personal desires for another's reference?

  • Thank you so much, i have wasted so much money in the past on dremel disks. Really, thank you so much, A+++ tutorial.

  • Like me Like FB Like I love my Dremmel.

  • Amazing tutorial. Hakatox, you just saved me a bundle. Keep the videos coming! Great work.

  • haha i thought u wher gona carv spideys leg off

  • Que?

  • Great tip, thanks! I can't wait to get to my workshop and give it a go.

  • Made a couple to test. Modified the production a bit, I used a punch to make the hole for the arbor, and then to round them I screwed several together on the dremel and ran it against the side of my bench grinder's course wheel then fine wheel. Mostly I did this because all my concrete is painted, but it seems to work faster. If any of you have these sorts of tools its a bit quicker.

  • if you have nothing good to say dont say anything at all but i liked it he taught me how to make VERY cheap cutting disks for my dremel 5 of 5

  • Man, you killed spiderman!! Damn u...

  • flicking flukking grate wot ay sympool iy deer fiss is kool luv yor vidd m8 any tips 4 cuting keys or metel them fings cost too much btw hav u got that all off yer chest that kid got to ya but let it go. do badders aint worf yer time n efert the rest of us you nefer ear from fink your ok d best wishis from london uk

  • spiderman doesnt deserve that you dick squeezer

  • awesone all the cutting wheels are super expensive

  • lol for sure lol

  • can it cut pvc pipe because the contractor wants to cut pvc but the ez lock cut off disk for plastic is expensive.just reply to it please.

  • ay idea for what to cut metal with?

  • thanks, i'll use it when i get my dremel this christmas. try to make a circle shape by rounding the disk out on a knife sharpening stone, or will the stone be too soft? Yeah, probably will, oh well, thanks for the video!

  • Thank you for sharing! That was fantastic!

  • helpful, thanks! I've been struggling for weeks finding a suitable plastic cutter as they always burn my plastic, not cut it to be exact.

  • spiderman -_-

  • Dude, Im 14 and even I think this is wayy to dangerous. If your not careful, you can get one of those skinny aluminum cans they can break under high rpm and it WILL break through plastic goggles, But if you want a really strong cutting disc use this tutorial, but its real dangerous.

  • when I was 14 I knew when to keep my mouth shut..... I have been using these for years... since you were 9 in fact... and I have NEVER had one bust on me or cut me....

  • Its your problem then. But you have to admit, when you first watch this it does look dodgy.

  • look at the other videos about the disks I made... I am sure they will settle any speculations... I have used these disks for years.. in fact one disk is hitting its "1 year of use" mark... these disks have made HUNDREDS of figures and other projects. there's even a video of me making skin contact at 10,000 RPM. I have the experience of use and being the one who makes them. I think you would take my word. but some kids need to be right all the time and dont know when to just listen.

  • also... little guy I use reinforced tin can lids... not aluminum cans... of course its dangerous for a dipshit who doesn't follow directions

  • Dude, calm down your making such a fuss over it xD!

  • calm down... you come in here all condescending and warning people over a product you dont know anything about.. you tell people it's dangerous when you didnt follow directions.. you try to besmirch my work AND YER ONLY 14!! I honestly am here to help.. not take people's shit.

  • Im fifteen. And just because Im young it doesnt mean you have to follow the sterotype that 'ALL' young people on youtube that dont have some intelligence about the videos they watch, And its my opinion, not yours. so just leave it.

  • ooo yer 15 years old and you came one a video I CREATED AND TESTED yet you try to disprove me . thats not an opinion. learn the definitions of shit . I wasnt using stereotypes, it was a generalization on your behavior bench marked by YOU pointing out your age. you opened the door by talking about shit you have no idea on.. tin versus aluminum. even though I said TIN.. yet you still came on here to make low of my efforts. you are being the dick. now face what you created.

  • @hakatox I'm with you! Anyone who "claims" to be 15 probably isn't. No real 15 year old has any need to justify their age in every second post.

Besides, he probably shouldn't even be playing with a dremel without parental supervision..

  • Thanks. good stuff. I recon you're a tweaker!

  • no sir, and I dont appreciate the assumption.

  • did spidey just get a triple bypass without anesthesia?

  • thanx for yur time, good idea

  • I gonna eat canned tuna tonight & tomorrow I will be making my disc! Thanks for this cheap alternative!

  • cheers great idea, thanks for sharing

  • i made one with teeth like a saw blade and worked pretty good on wood.(dangerous) but good. no art w/out pain tho. thanx very helpful

  • was that a harbor freight knife to tighten the screw on the mandrel? i just cut myself the other day and got 8 stiches lol

    you were right

  • That´s reall smart, oh, and ignore the mean comments, they are just jealous you are so creative!!!.

  • Thankyou this will be very useful and save money.

  • This worked excellent.

  • hahahaha, I love dremel tools, poor spiderman lol

  • nice work mate!!!! good tip will definitely come in usefull

    your a dipshit Hammerspur1

hahaha repetition is a sign of a mind who cant evolve beyond themselves

  • Excellent Tip. Thanks for sharing.

  • Hi. Can I do this with my new dremel stylus tool? thanks for the great video !

  • I don't have a dremel, but I think I'll be able to improvise something and hopefully use the concept here effectively. Thanks for the tip!

  • that's awesome, cheap and effective

  • OK... forgive me. I might have been a bit mouthy. I do lots of machine shop stuff without the benefit of lathes, mills, etc.

I've dreamed up some pretty good licks, too.

Made lots of one-off parts for my bike and others' also.

People have asked me several times if I'm a machinist...Hardly!

Again, pardon my rudeness, it's not really my style.

  • OK, you got me. You're kiddin', right?!

I've seen less amateurish tool making done by clever ten yer olds... SHEESH!

  • and I have met ten year olds who know that it takes one time to get the point across...

repetition is a sign of a mind who cant evolve beyond themselves

  • IF the post comes up without repeated attempts

  • It reads "comment pending approval", right?

    Guess who's approval it's waiting on...... that's right...mine, dumbass.

as for amateurish.... who cares....no lathe or heavy machinery. thats not too shayby if you ask me. Besides, it's only for plastic. not like I am trying to be pro or impress senseless dip shits on the internet.

  • Huh....There went 5 minutes and 49 seconds of my life I'll never get back.

  • tough shit, it was your choice to watch the video.

the title says it all.... so I guess it was your own stupid ass fault for wasting that time and the time to post the same comment 4 times.....dipshit

  • Awsome tip! I hope its be strong enough to cut through wood. If not i'll post the video of me losing my eye!

  • @ where . com ? I missed that! Im a modeler so I realy want to know!

I have a group that does paper modeling. But im looking into other stff too! The link to my group in on my channel at the top! ;)

  • cool gonna try

  • Great video.....poor spiderman though!lol im favoriting this!

  • fick dich arschloch^^

  • "and thats the day spider man died" :D

Thank you thats a good tip :)

  • Man, u r my hero! :-) I just bought my Dremel 300 and was thinking if it's possible to cut apertures to the plastic boxes which i am using for housing of my homemade electronic devices.... you know, holes for lcd's, switches etc. Cutting disc made from can is perfect tool for this task, BIG THANKS!! :))

  • I think I may redo this whole thing all together

cause I know exactly what you mean

  • Hak,

    two bits of advice:

a- reshoot the kitchen scene in better lighting (perhaps the shop?)

    2: get a Freakin' CAMERAMAN!!

(like the bro's don't got nuttin' to do, do they?)

    otherwise, kewlness!

    ;)

  • no one in my house is into participating in what I do
