  • It was for a video class

  • lols he sounds so bored, as if he were being forced to do this.

  • Great video! Very educational. You helped me a lot in figuring out what I needed to do for my own first-time birdhouse gourds. Thanks!

  • Your a good son to make that for your mom:)

  • This Vid is tight STAY UP light one Peace

  • What if it's a fat bird??

  • That gourd looked not to healthy it was way to many holes

  • Those are colored spots from the drying process

  • You really don't need to empty the birdhouse of membrane and seeds, the birds can use it for nesting materials.

  • Hey, Thanks for the tip. It is kind of a hassle taking that stuff out.

  • No problem, but if you are giving it as a gift, I don't think they would want to see the insides of it...

in which case, just make the hole for the "birds" without drainage, soak the inside for a bit, then when it rehydrates it will be easier to pull out.

  • awesome vid! good job! im looking for more bird house vids!

  • i don't speak very good engish so i can't understand anything of you say!!:(

  • cool

  • I was glad to see that you didn't put a dowel on it for the birds to sit on. That gives acsess to sparrows to poke their head in and kill the baby birds! This is another reason why I like the entrance to be a little higher up.

Re the hanger, it looks nicer than mine, but in my area of the country the wind would take it right down, so I put the wire all the way through the gourd and hang it on a tree limb fastening securely. Much more secure. Nice job! Rainwalker
