  • ok yeh Korg but what abot the GUITAR AMP?

  • Part 2 of Close Encounters?

  • can you play a plug in ukulele on it?

  • l just killed a family of 4.

  • Sounds like a cheap Garage Band patch, So what is the point of your demo? Other than there is a lot of distortion in your line somewhere? The best part comes in around 1:27 it's just great! :D

  • guitar amp ok? not gay music player!!!

  • what a lovely song.

  • ET where R U

  • I like it !

  • deedldee dee--fefeefeee---deedldee dee---fefeefeee--döödledööödöööö-....

What a catchy tune ! I sing this in the shower aaaaall day long !

  • Fantastic.

  • Sounds like the music from an old 8-bit sci-fi game.

  • I wonder what it sounds like with an actually musical instrument.

  • Fuck you.

  • is it works for an Electric Bass guitar?

  • @bemolable NO

  • @bemolable

no ive tried it. it overwhelms the amp and mutes itself so you cant really hear anything but the release.

  • What a headache!

  • IT'S THE FUTURE

  • Like the video but the comments on the video are the the funniest part

  • TECHNO SUCKS

  • Wtf, a guitar amp is for a guitar

  • @cossatotfalls Yes, that's right. Rock and Roll is ALL ABOUT regimentation. Keeping your elbows off the table when you eat, being careful about your grooming habits, etc. No, don't be like Mr. Bungle and express your individuality with rock and roll. Like Mr. Bungle.

  • no, just no

  • I have got one of those. Sometimes i feel like turning it into a overdrive pedal.

  • not to be a hater, but what's your point of getting those sounds out of a guitar amp? you should connect your electribe or whatever that rhythm box esque thing you got there to your pc's speakers instead.

  • @griefman

The point is that he's found a way to get an interesting lo-fi synth sound using a cheapo guitar amp.

  • Hey Denkitribe, have you heard 'Failure 33 object' by John Frusciante or 'On the run' by Pink Floyd? Sounds very similar to both of them:)

  • how well would this handle screamo ?

  • wtf is this?

  • Video is 1:27 long, but gets annoying around the 0:01 mark.

  • yeah and it stays that way to 1:27 and beyond - may ears are still ringing-why did I torture myself by watching this.. Oh yeah I,m wondering if anyone who owns this amp can take a screwdriver, open it up and tell what make and model speaker they use, as i want to make something like that for myself.

  • hahahaha!

  • you muppet go and twiddle your knobs somewhere else!!!

  • what would happen if i plugged my bass into one of these...instant kaput?

  • instant erection!

  • .....did you get a reply! Amp does sound good, cheers.

  • love it. buying one now.

  • that little amp kicks ass!

  • i have that mini amp and love it! What i do with it is plug my guitar into it and plug the amp into my real amp with my special plug that connects a cord to a head phone spot. Good thinking with the microphone though.

  • Tryed one in a musikstore today with a Fender 1957. Wow, it sounds fantastic. The dirty vintage strat drive sound was there. And what do you expect from a 20$ tiny plasticbox ? I had no idea and was really amazed. For a Stevie Ray Vaughan jam with the guys at the street, this is your friend :-)

  • i have this amp, but i can't get it to work. it turns on and everything, but it won't make a sound.

can you please let me know why it won't?

  • awful !!!!!

  • I once had that amp, and it sounds horrible.

  • what......

  • huhahahaha funnyyyy...

  • you should read the title again

  • Realy hard 4 some peopel

  • orrible

  • i like it, but it sounds like dial-up.

  • WINRAR

  • Hell yeah that sounds tight.....like the tube on the ESX.....love it.

  • I got one a these...its a pretty cool little accessory, but i just plug mine into the wall cuz the battery died pretty quickly

  • haha that's fun and creative. kick ass.

it's also amusing to see how many people don't get that this was just for fun :D

i got a honeytone amp myself that shape and size haha. need to go find me a 9V battery.

  • nerd

  • beam me up scotty!

  • Oh shit, I have one of those, I'm gonna hook it up to some of my synths. Haha I just came across this video I didn't even search it.

  • why use it on a midi?

    geez!

  • i agree why use it on midi

  • To warm up the sounds.

If you don't have any analog synths, just put your PC VSTi's through this baby and record it back into your mix.

It'll sound warm, nostalgic, kind of vignetted. Check out Boards Of Canada for that kind of sound.

  • Christ if you're going to use one of those at least use a guitar.

  • That sounds fucking -HORRIBLE-. I LOVE it. Buying one now.

  • Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

  • Man I'm getting one of these, as well as a Dano DC 59! Sounds awesome, but yeah, I'd rather have heard a guitar thru it.

  • bro dont get one. they sound like shit. get a ligit marshall one, i swear the sound on the honeytone is high pitched and whiney and believe me iv been playing guitar for a long time they rnt good

  • I thought that was the idea--Lo-fi sound, duh.

Notice the word "RADIO" right in the description?

It sounds good to me... For synth stuff, anyway.

  • that noise is stating to piss me off

  • Its a GUITAR amp. Would have been nice to hear a GUITAR!

  • oh right, and I guess that since the cello bow is for the cello, that means you can't use it for the vibraphone as well.

  • Stop being an ass, kay!?

And don't frown on someone's ingenuity just because it's not with a guitar... Geetar-wanking farts aren't the supreme masters of the music world or some stupid shit like that (It sure seems as if you see it that way).

There's, like, a million guitar demos of this product on youtube... Comment on those.

  • so how clean can the sound through the headphone jack get. i'd assume half of the distortion is coming from crappy little speaker.

i ask because i'm considering using one of these to boost my guitar to line level so i can process it with my nord modular.

  • for the love of god will someone please give me the owners manual on this so i know how to tune my honeytone amp? i looked all over the internet and found nothing. i really want to have the instructions so that i can start using it. send me a message.thx

  • I didnt know you could tune an amp......first ive ever heard of that

  • yeah same

  • why I have my Line 6 tuned to a Q double flat and my Ampeg to an F sharp squared ;)

  • dude just plug in, turn it on and play.

  • ha-ha-ha.

good luck with tuning your amp(duh...)

  • Use your ears. Turn the knobs to whatever sounds best to you. Experiment. Pay attention. You'll figure it all out.

  • lol, thats rocking.

  • I just got one of these !!

  • Great, more mobile solutions!

    Keep em comin!

  • That sounds ill.

  • Nice!

  • What a beautiful retro amp :)

  • Yeah, that's not bad. Nice sequence!!

  • Sounding pretty nice. What microphone is that?
