@annanoli I wasnt being critical, I was saying how different things were then as opposed to now, where everyone has to wear hard hats and go through endless health and safety meetings etc..
That would have been a great time to clean the lower hull of barnicles, and maybe a little paint too...

The ship never was re-floated, it was scrapped.
