I took it once. 5 mgs. It made me tired, and gave me a headache. I was tierd 24 hrs after taking the pill. I was irritable, but then I'm always irritable. FUCK antipsychotics. I'll never touch them again. (In the past I tried Geodon--it was HORRIBLE, wore than Åbilify. I took the Geodon for two doses of before I quickly wised up and d/c'd it).
Anyway, I took 5 mg of Abilify 24 hrs ago, plus a nap after work, and I still feel
I tend to use Lamictal more than Abilify. However, you never know what will work best for a patient till you try. Still, I make great effort to educate on side effects. Lithium, I think, is also one of the best drugs out there. Still not for everyone.
Some people are just toally fucked up. All these meds......just live your life CLEAN. Healthy diet. All these meds do nothing but shorten a life a span.
I am sorry to hear that abilify didn't work for you. Abilify worked for me, but it took a few days to get used to it. I use it in addition to effexor, and both are covered by the state over here (Norway), otherwise I would not be able to afford these meds. So over here, the doctors are hesitant to prescribe meds unless they really need to, because it costs the state and not the consumer. I really hope you find something that works for you, thanks for making these videos :) :)
@BipolarNurse I was put on Lepticur after the Abilify. People don't understand how horrible tardive akathesia is. I am off all meds. I was only "maybe" bipolar and who knows why they did this. I'm way better off without meds.

I thought it was miserable, I slept for 3 days after one tablet and the side effects seem so global it was insane.

Weird, I experienced exactly the same when I had to take that. Seroques is nasty stuff like all psychiatric drugs.
