Castlevania III Ending with Syfa

So, can you only have an ending with Trevor and ONE of the other playable characters? (I never actually played the game myself.)

@petercharleskrug There are four endings, one with each character and Trevor, and one with just Trevor, if you choose not to bring them into your party.

According to the instruction book,the book calls Syfa a he

The nes refers to it as syfa, judgement says sypha.
