As for your pokemon comment, it is one of the most lucrative franchises ever, so they did a great job in that case since it will bring them way more money. I don't care about dungeons, i don't care about PvP. I am happy to get more story and character development.

Wow... it really amazes me that so many people can complain about the pandas. Personally im more excited about wow than ive been since TBC.

You can say whatever you want about wow now becoming a parody. That's just not the case, Blizzard have always delivered and they will continue to do so. WoW on it's worst day beats any mmo tenfold and that's just a fact.

The worgens went from savage looking beast as ennemies to cute playable wolves, I used to fight over the books in Karazhan to get the worgen morph, it was badass. The dranei should have used the broken model, the playable worgen, dranei and blood elf don't fit the univers. And now pandas. Metzen isnt convinving me when talking about it, no enthusiasm atall

The key to this video is between 3:59 and 4:30. Its evident that the long-run idea is to have the two factions realize that they need to sign a truce if they plan to survive whatever bad ass menace shows up -Sargeras, maybe?-, and at one point you will be able to raid and team up with players from the other faction in some fashion.

@Balnazzardi Metzen himself said that they always wanted to involve the Pandarians in WoW. They wanted to make them the playable race for the Alliance in BC. They had it in their heads all the time that they're canon. Just because they didn't put them into the game doesn't change that. Just give them a chance. We haven't had the chance to really see them yet. Maybe they turn out better than you think. Still, it's not like everyone has to like every race... just try to accept them as part of lore

And there were a lot of new cultures added with the past few expansions. We had Egypt with Uldum, Scandinavia with the Vrykul, then there are the Taurens that live like Native Americans and the trolls that are like Jamaicans even though they build Inca-like temples. So why not something Asian, too?

Name one war in human history where there was no way to communicate with the other side, no translators after thousands of years of battle...really? I realize at game origin it was decided that talking amongst factions would create an unfair advantage with spies n such. But as technology has developed, find a player without a voice communication program (Vent, Skype, etc) so this logic is simply no longer sound.

@XerxezsX - it's either a joke, or a really weird ploy by blizzard to get people to stop playing WoW and start playing Diablo III or Titan when it's released, especially considering they are offering annual passes at reduced monthly rates. That gives them a year to make something off WoW before they open a new game.
