Your father's game was an inspiration to millions. Through DND predominantly, and other RPGs such as Traveller, I found a new focus and new friends, which facilitated my change from anti-social behaviour and a deterioration of my grades at school.

He will be fondly remembered by me, my close friends, and the untold millions who have enjoyed his original game, or the many thousands of its offshoots and other RPGs.
