This song was on the B side of the very first Slade album I've ever heard - a compilation named Story. It was about 12 years ago, when I was six or so, my dad played me this tune for the first time. Then I fell in love with Slade. I remember ferreting my dad's wardrobe for suits and hats as well as some Slade - looking jewellery and ties, as I wanted to be like them. Nothing that is produced recently compares to this old and forgotten song.
A gem of a song that unfortunately will have passed most people by - even the Slade 'HITS' fans. Definately British and as such deserves to be as popular as 'Oh I do like to be ...., an unacknowledged classic,
Another gem of a song by the mighty SLADE! They are INCREDIBLE!!!!
