  • Did he ever lose?

  • Rocky Marciano the Brockton Blockbuster vs any fighter in the world and Rocky Marciano won!The Brockton Blockbuster country United States

    residence Brockton, Massachusetts, United States

birth place Brockton, Massachusetts, United States

    birth name Rocco Francis Marchegiano

    won 49 (KO 43) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 49

    rounds boxed 241 KO% 87.76

  • #1 of all time

  • Marciano broke bones and ruptured blood vessels...he smashed teeth into gums...he tore teeth off at the nubs...he almost killed Carmine Vingo...Vingo never fought again...he hurt you no matter where he hit you...great power...heart...stamina...conditioning...pain meant nothing to Marciano...champ from 1952 -1956...49-0 49KO's...died in a plane crash on Aug.31,1969...the day before his 46th birthday...RIP

  • @beatlejim64 only 43 KO's but beside that; spot on.

  • A great man and a great fighter, passed away all to soon. Some say his best opponents were to old, but they were also more experienced. There are no HW legends in Rocky's exact age. Rocky fought everyone who got in the ring with him and beat them (almost always by knockout), what more can you ask of him? He will always be one of my favorite boxers. RIP Rocco.

  • The best ever...

  • Rocky movies were based on this man.. Mike Tyson studied this man's style. Rocky Marciano GOAT!.

  • @SuperDelta000 - Rocky movies were based on the Chuck Wepner v Ali fight. Stallone attended the fight and his idea of Rocky Balboa was born. Marciano was a great fighter.

  • rocky is a gentlemen and the best boxer in history. he is a legend and icon for many.

  • THE GREATEST!

  • ha had some power

  • ROCKY the best of all time 49-0 AWESOME Ali lost 5 times even to Spinks

  • @bearoaktree Well said. I would Joe Louis as #1 but Rocky is right there and was better than Ali imo.

  • the truly rocky, the stallone inspiration

  • Keeplifting He may have fought some fighters passed their prime..But he fought just about everyone there was to fight during his time and his record is yet to be beat.

  • Because you're Italian, don't be apologetic. There was no political correctness in the 50s and 60s. Come off it. He is the greatest of all the heavyweights. Why? Because he never lost , he created a record and most of all , then it was BOXING. Not the wimsy pansy stuff you see on the TV. with hardly anyone ever being scratched. Cassius Clay started all that wimpy pimpy girlie boxing.

  • Rcoky was the only unbeatable champion. 'Nuff said. The man deserves all the respect he can get.

  • tutti vecchi i campioni che ha vinto marchegiano rocco frensis........83 kg ma cosa poteva fere contro un lewis.............................nulla

  • Rocky Marciano should be remembered as a man who overcame incredible physical disadvantages and beat the best their was at the time. He was 5'10" and weighed 185 pounds. He was perhaps the hardest puncher of all time. He had incredible heart, stamina and chin. He beat Walcott twice, a fighter who gave Joe Louis fits. Guys want to say he would get flattened by Tyson and Foreman. Nobody knows. Foreman and Tyson had weaknesses and both could be KO'd. If we put Rocky in proper context he is top 5.

  • In his entire career he was down to podium twice i.e refree counted on him twice(in his entire career) that say it all about the toughness of man!! A trur champion undefeated !!

  • Rocky was one of the toughest fighters to ever strap on the leather. He was a real tough guy who trained all year round. My grandfather sparred with him and always talked about how this guy could take any punch from anyone period. A class act, that was our Rocky.

  • Fellas I just want to say that we shouldnt be quick to throw Rocky at the very top; He was a great fighter who couldnt be outclassed BUT Ive been in the fightgame for a long time and think that Ali might have ended up in a Joe Frazier type battle with him which is to say that Ali might have stung him more than we would have liked to seen..That said Ali woud have had his hands full...But Tyson and Marciano shouldnt be said in the same sentence ...

  • Rocky was thee greatest fighter to ever grace the ring ... punching power par excellent ... no body could weather is barrage of punches that inflicted pain with each punch or swipe or jab ... Rocky was truly thee greatest <3

  • Rocky is thee greatest heavy weight of all time ... he'd murder Ali

  • @truefreedom2011 I'm not sure there is such a thing as "the greatest heavyweight of all time". If there is, then it certainly isn't Rocky Marciano, which is not to say he wasn't a great fighter. Jack Johnson, Joe Louis (not the old man, WAY past his prime, that Rocky fought, but the young, dynamic Louis who knocked out almost everyone he faced), and Muhammad Ali would be more likely candidates. Rocky, THE greatest? Not really. I'm Italian, but not blind.

  • Marciano's detractors point out his biggest wins were against older past their prime heavyweights and the rest weren't that good. Fair enough maybe but the same can be said about Louis he beat poor champs like Braddock who was past his best, Bear who's technique was laughable and was flawed by bums like Tony 'Two Ton' Galento (because he's fat and drunk beer).

I'm not taking anything away from anyone but look at things in perspective, Louis had fast hands, Rocky had power both were great.

  • @Freddie1980 Indeed, I suppose every heavyweight champion has to face his share of "bums"; that makes it much harder to justify meaningless statements such as "he was THE greatest of all time", etc. In fact, the person who posted this video has labelled it very intelligently: " a tribute to one of the greatest heavyweights of all time"! Note the phrase "one of the greatest": I think it would be hard for anyone to disagree with this. And isn't this enough? I think it's a worthy tribute to Rocky.

  • Rocky had the punching power of an amor peircing projectile ... truly the greatest!!!!

  • @truefreedom2011 hey i didnt see your post until after i wrote the same as you. did you watch the same documentary?

  • truly the greatest!

  • Greatest .

  • I saw the following on Wikipedia :

Marciano's punch was tested and it was featured in the December 1963 issue of Boxing Illustrated: "Marciano's knockout blow packs more explosive energy than an armor-piercing bullet and represents as much energy as would be required to spot lift 1000 pounds one foot off the ground."

  • G.O.A.T

    Greatest

    Of

    All

    Times

  • rocky he was the real deal a true champion not ali who resorted to cheating aginst henry cooper the riped glove lie which gave ali time to recover when he got knoked the fuck out everyone says ali was the greatest then why cheat and did he lose 5 time and not so great boxers ken norton ect ali wated to live in a country that gave him freedom but not fight for it and not go to war he was a discrace

  • Peer high caliber boxers defeated by Rocky Marciano: Ezzard Charles, Harry Mathews, Rex Layne, Roland LaStarza, Bernie Reynolds, and Don Cockell. together they have over 400 victories so if you don't recognize the names you just don't know the era.

  • one fantasy fight id have loved to have happened would have been: (ROCKY MARCIANO V SAM LANGFORD)? which one do you think would have won this mamoth encounter?

  • Jesus, this is making me cry even without the music as my sound ain't working, he was, and is still a true champion in my heart, he lives on through Tyson's image.

  • @tony1234872 - " He lives on through Tysons image" What an insult to the Marciano family.

  • How would anyone know if Rocky would or would not have beaten some of those great boxers mentioned? He never fought them. It's purely conjecture on your part and our part. You can't emphatically say that he wouldn't have beaten them. We will never know. So to say that he's not as good as those other boxers is only a matter of opinion. It's all guess work.

  • @d3sire4fire ya i think anyone would i mean Joe Louis was Marciano's inspiration, like the reason he started fighting.

  • great video of my all-time favourite fighter!

  • Most whites back then never liked Joe Louis because of his race. He dominated the sport of boxing , then he retired . Joe Louis was given a lot of money to come out of retirement to fight Rocky. Joe Louis was a very old 37 when he fought the 28 year old Marciano, Today, 37 doesn't seem to be very old for most fighters. However, Louis had been fighting for many years and as most of you know, years and years of getting puched in the face catches up with you. Rocky "The Great White Hype" Marciano!

  • @KevinDFuller94 , everything u wrote is dead on, sound reasoning. However, don't waste ur time, people will always believe their own reality. Ur NEVER gonna convince Marciano fans on youtube pages. I respect him but seriously---85% of his fights were unknowns from Boston or New England. The rest were old. However, the legends fought other legends & fought all over the globe. I used to box and I follow it, and ur 100% correct man, but u might be on the wrong page for any support lol.

  • @druhepkins Thank you. You are so right I will never be able to convince Marciano fans that he is not the greatest boxer of all time. I was hoping that there was someone on this page who was not fooled by the incredible hype of Rocky Marciano & would give me some support but once again you are 100% correct. I will give up tring to convince people who wont hear a thing im tring to say.

  • @KevinDFuller94

Dude even white people loved Louis, he was an American hero. Marciano was the Tyson of his day.

  • Comment removed

  • @KevinDFuller94 Rocky- 1. Joe Louis-0. Nobody mentions age when Randy cotoure is 45 and winning ufc titles

  • @ssstuart0039 What the hell are you talking about! Thats all Mike Goldberg & Joe Rogan & the rest of the world talked about was Randy's age!

  • The legendsI listed fought THE GREATEST BOXERS OF THEIR TIME! Like I said the only GREAT boxers Rocky ever beat were Joe Louis & Archie Moore & when they fought Rocky they were so past their prime it wasnt even a fair fight. Goggle Rocky Marciano! You wont know most of the soup cans that he beat. I said this so many times, Rocky was THE GREAT WHITE HYPE! He was fighting in racist times. He was given nobodies to fight to boost his name.

  • @KevinDFuller94 LOLLOLOLL YOU ARE A LYING STUPID PIECE OF SHIT, I ALREADY FOUND YOU ON HERE SAYING EXACTLY WHAT I SAID YOU WOULD SAY, LOL ******EVERY ONE GET THIS ***** I READ THIS GUYS STATEMENT ON ANOTHER PAGE AND I SAID TO HIM HE IS THE EXACT TYPE THAT WOULD SAY THERE WILL NEVER B A WHITE HEAVY WEIGHT AN THIS POS GOT ALL DEFENSIVE AND SAID RACE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, THEN I SEE THIS POST WOW WHAT A FUCKING LYING COCK SUCKING FAG PS KLITSCHKO IS THE CURRENT WHITE CHAMP OF WORLD

  • I keep getting comments on the comment I made on this video, so I'll explain my commnent. Rocky was no doubt a great boxer, but he is not even close to being one of the best boxers of all time like (Sugar) Ray Robinson, Muhammed Ali, Julio Cesar Chavez, Marvin Hagler, (Sugar) Ray Leonard, & (Big) George Foreman, No disrespect but Rocky fought soup cans! Rocky's most notable victory was over his childhood idle, Joe Louis, whom he sent back into retirement. But Joe was well past his prime.

  • @KevinDFuller94 Dude, You are on other pages talking about how "race has nothing to do with it" (i have fucking seen it)...and now your on this page talking about Race being such a factor... lol hypocrite

  • Great man first& an animal inside the ring RIP

  • Freeze frame at 3:22 and look at Rocky's arm...

  • Rocky could probasbly tske mroe punishment than anybody. He certainly trained harder and more consistently than any heavyweight, even by modern standards. He could fight for 40 rounds and above if he had to.

  • Marciano was the best conditioned fighter who ever lived...period!!! The Rock had a great chin...great power in both hands..especially the right...dubbed the"Suzie Q"..great stamina...great heart....he was also mentally tough....you're gonna run from this man for 15 rounds?...you're gonna out punch the Rock?...guess again...Marciano would be HELL for any fighter..he feared no man!

    Champ from 1952 thru 1956....49-0....43 KO's..

  • Look people rocky was no doubt a great fighter but, he was no were near the best. He fought some good fighters but he didnt fight the best thats why he retired undefeted. If you want the P4P BEST OF ALL TIME THAT MAN IS NO DOUBT Sugar Ray Robinson, and i've been reading the comments and no disrespect to rocky but YOU ALL ARE HIGHLY OVERRATING ROCKY IF YOU THINK HE WOULD STAND A CHANCE AGAINST THE GREATEST HEAVYWEAIGHTS LIKE FORMAN,ALI,TYSON, JUST THINK OF A 5 ft 10 185LB MAN FIGHTING FORMAN

  • @KevinDFuller94 - I've read some fucked up comments on you tube but yours takes the cake.As soon as you mentioned the coward tin man, your comment lost all credibility. Even Tyson knows he's a joke. Ali never beat Frazier or Liston in their primes.Every reputable historian rates Rocky highly, you must know more than them!

  • @KevinDFuller94 theres a reason why rocky was undefeated for a reason, only one other boxer can say that. Rocky had more will power and heart. Thats what made him the best. You cant not tell a guy whos never lost he would lose. Ali showed he could be beat. Ali would maybe win off decision. I think rock would have knocked him out in the later rounds cause in my opinion was the best conditioned athlete of all time.

  • @KevinDFuller94 size aint everything as you well no from these comments only a small brain could write such crap kevin you need locking up for your own safty

  • @ supermanbrl DONT TALK UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT UR TALKIN ABOUT Ali lost to Ken Norton when he was WAY PAST IS PRIME! AND SPEAKING OF WAY PAST PRIMES ROCKY BEAT JOE LOUIS WHEN LOUIS WAS WAY PAST HIS PRIME LOOK IT UP! ROCKY BEAT JOE LOUIS WHEN HE CAME OUT OF RETIRERMET TO FIGHT BECAUSE HE WAS IN GREAT DEBT. ALI BEAT THE BEST BOXERS OF HIS ERA IN THEIR PRIMES LIKE, SONNY LISTON, JOE FRAZIER AND GEORGE FORMAN. IF ROCKY FOUGHT FORMAN, FORMAN WOULD DESTROY 5FT 10 ROCKY TRING TO GET INSIDE LIKE FRAZIER!!

  • @KevinDFuller94 ali lost five times what more can i say rocky beat the best and some of them where biger than ali walcott so on ali also cheated not a real champ in my eyes but for gulable people like your self who just believe what they want to keep dreaming rocky would smash the lot and only half the size like you said you onw words and you can look that up aswell

  • @KevinDFuller94 what makes you think foreman will destroy rocky like frazier? even ali said rocky is definitely better than frazier. frazier got dropped 6 times when he fought foreman, rocky has only been dropped twice in his whole career and both times he got up and koed his opponents. he has the toughest chins, most stamina, heart, and power. foreman has power too but rocky definitely has a better chin and more stamina and more heart.

  • Comment removed

  • rocky was the man a true warrior and legend 49-0 what a record the greatest fighter of the last 100 years strenth endurace and stamina he had it all all this talk about ali was the greatest is rubbish he lost 5 times to not so great people ken norton so on rocky would smash ali with sheer power alone rocky beat the best joe louis jersey walcott all of these fighters would have beat ali and ali cheated against henry cooper by ripping hes glove allowing more time to recover ali is cheat not champ.

  • YOUNGEST CHAMP EVER MIKE TYSON 19TEEN... ROCKY COULDN'T WHIP MIKE THEN MAYBE LATER BUT NOT WHEN THE CHAMP WAS IN HIS PRIME. I RESPECT THIS GUY MARCIANO..GREAT LAST WHITE HOPE

  • @djstatz great last white hope? lol Klistchko heavyweight champ ? And lets not get started on the UFC (the sport that is making boxing an afterthought) where Whites have a majority of the professionally ranked fighters and ufc championship belts

  • The Real Rocky

  • as a person growing up in Brockton I would have liked to see Rocky VS Mike Tyson in his prime,in my opinion that would be my fight of the century, both very strong and having trainers that cared more for making the man than making the big bucks

  • Maluco o Rock Marciano era o terror.

  • marciano would mop the floor with ali in 5 rounds

  • greatest of all time

  • Hardest puncher in history. This is fact, he hit harder then bullets! He hit hard enough to spot lift 1,000 pounds of the ground one foot! He broke a mans arm, knocked another man out for serval minutes (literally knocked him out), he even Paralyzed 1/2 of a mans body while fighting.

Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis are/were the two best fighters in history.

  • r.i.p rocky

  • rocky only fought away from the east coast 2 times. once in chicago, the other in california. all of his other fights were within like 80 miles of eachother.

  • apparently marciano had a punch that hard he could break every bone in your face

  • rocco marciano was the hero of italians all over the wold.

  • When sparring he used to knockdown or out a training partner, run around

the ring until they got another poor guy in the ring, and he do the same thing until he would run out of sparring partners.

Unbelievably well-conditioned fighter with immense power!

  • bullshit! ...where you read that??

  • Rocky was the best. The Greatest.

  • Italians are the best. Amen

  • Rocky is LEGEND!

  • all and all, italians are the best

  • at selling ice cream

  • LMAO!!!.........................Man ure crazy!!!

  • R.I.P Rocky M u will be missed.

  • great fighter r.i.p

  • rocky could punch a hole in a tree trunk ,such power.See his lat muscle in one of those pics ,wow man i remember his trainer saying he could of easily been a weightlifter he was so naturally strong.

  • You are right. Let me tell you if he fought Ali he would of KO him because if Ali tried the rope a dope on the Rock he would send him to the floor HARD.

  • he did fight rocky, rocky messed him up

  • You are right but that was on a computer not the real deal. If they lived and boxed in the 50s the Rock would have KO him HARD.

  • Of course rocky would've ko'd ali if they fought in the 50's......cause ali would've only been about 12 fuckin years old!!!!

  • Look if the Rock was 25 and Ali was 25 Ali would still get KO!

  • @bearoaktree I doubt very much if Ali would have KO'd Rocky. Marciano was incredibly tough & very awkward. Personally...a close call on points with Ali just edging it...but closer than many would think as his style would have frustrated Ali, who himself was also quite resilient & game.

  • @RossTaylor09 It's ironic as Rocky as a baby was sickly and for awhile the family thought he wouldn't survive but thanks to his grandmother's special chicken broth he slowly began to get stronger and stronger and stronger and............Thanks grandma..

  • did marciano ever lift weights? or did he just use isometrics.?

  • His trainer said that while he didn't usually lift weights in preparation for a fight, he justy had so much natural strength that he could easily have been a bodybuilder if he wanted to.

  • @free His bio says he lifted home-made weights as a teen. No mention of his pro career, but weights might've Rocky's "secret weapon": Trainers then were against weights: Thought it made fighters "muscle-bound". (Modern wisdom's that weight training's only bad if it cuts into the time & effort put into boxing training). I believe Rocky used the anti-weight prejudice to his advantage by lifting in secret. It'd explain his strength, & it'd make Rocky the first truly modern-training fighter.

  • @RossTaylor09

The fighter at 1:25 is Gino Buonvino, my uncle (my mom's brother). He was the Italian heavyweight champion at that time and he fought Marciano twice (in 1950 and 1952), losing in both matches. However, in the first match my uncle went to the mat in the 2nd round but got up and fought all the remaining rounds until the fight was stopped. So Gino was able to fight a respectable match against Rocky. In the second match, sadly, he went down in the 2nd round and didn't get up.

  • its not about Marciano being Italian its about the fact the guy was a decent human being one of a kind. Once you get past the Italian Barrier just like anybody they are one of the most decent giving and gernous people round!! and beauitful deep down too !!

  • but I bet too many people viewing the movie Ali didn't know that???

  • and for a great champion who was also a big mouth like Ali to do that - he must have known the man had some balls and greatness -definetly one of the best !!!

  • marciano est le plus grand poid lourd de tout les temp ,je sui certain quil aurais battu muhamad ali cela fait aucun doute personne naurais pus prendre des coups dune tel force en restant debout

  • Hooray for the Rock! Long live one of the greatest heavy weight boxing champions of all time. Bravo Marciano. Bravo.

  • and for the record i AND YOU dont know who would win for sure i think you could have hit them both with baseball bats in the face and nether would go down for a full ten count. i think it woul be very close !

  • ali vs rocky you all on both sides of the argument seem so 100% sure your right ali did lose a hand full of fights but avenged any that he fought before parkinsons set in that is as good as a perfect record. as for those saying rocky only fought bums if ali had not lost to frazier history would have him down as a bum. the problem with a perfect record is you make your opposition look bad. he beat the best fighters avalerble in the world at the time THEY WERE BOTH F@*$ING AMAZING FIGHTERS !

  • rocke boceta grossa

  • thats why Rocky throughout his training regime punched with a 300 pound bag which by the way weighs more than any of those dudes?? I have no doubt and neither does Frazier and even Foreman who had great respect for him they knew A champion. Ali had no respect for him until the computer fight until he went to his funeral and cried - a historical fact!!

  • TNBT21, what a fool you are ..

  • PEOPLE.... before you make stupid comments again...Ali and Marciano never fought.....The fight that's on youtube was a 1969 " FICTIONAL FIGHT"....not real....look for the video and read the description.

  • @daynelmarzo Yep Rocky was killed that year Day before his 46th birthday and didn't live to know the results i believe.

  • Comment removed

  • your wrong dude...make a research...Marciano and Ali never fought...the fight that's on youtube is a computerized fight...not a real fight.

  • FOREMAN,FRAZIER AND HOLMES WOULD WIN ROCKY TOO. FOREMAN WOULD destroy him

  • i agree...LOL I forgot to mention all of them.

  • fighters who have lost fights and I think would have beaten Marciano.

    -mike Tyson

    - Lennox Lewis

    - muhammad Ali ( they never fought, the fight that's on youtube is a computerized fight with the " predictions"...not a real fight, I think Ali would have won thou.)

Marciano was a good fighter but he never faced dangerous fighters like Ali, Tyson, and Lennox did.

  • Comment removed

  • 2:40 the way he misses that punch while keeping an eye on moore, expecting a counter punch. thats quality!

  • rocky marciano is the greatest joke in the history of boxing

  • you are the greatest joke in the history of youtube posting the same brainless crap in every marciano video

  • i am the joke who fuck your fucking mother and sister every day.

    larn on boxing motherfucker.

you choose marciano beacuse you are other bum like him

  • i have no sister and my mother fist fuck your ass gangrene all day alright, you rude gay cunt. i didnt disrespect you but you are the scum of the earth. death sentence to rude people, rapists, and liars! your life is worthless. nobody will ever respect you till the day you die of a slow painful death lol.

  • i enjoy when i rape your mother slowly.

i spit in his dirty body hahahaa, and you look at it.

  • eres vigilante de seguridad? que idiota, why dont you go study you useless idiot. what a stupid job you have lol stupid like you. bueno, la verdad es que me das pena. sorry for what i said. i pity you. you8 will never be more than the loser you are now. sorry. hope you dont have a slow ans painfull death, its not your fault you have bad genetics. your mom and dad are the ones to bllame. probably losers too...

  • lHahaa you are pathetic, i would squash you with 1 hand as an insect.

    LOSER!!1

  • yes know i know. im sorry for everything i said. i dint know who i was writing to. im sorry. you can say everything you want because im sorry for you now.really am.

  • Go Muhammed ali!!!!

  • bravo! i love it;)

  • Marciano served in WW2 and won the military boxing competition.

What can be more champion that that?

  • he is the greatest slugger of all time. my never ending source of inspiration. always win. always work hard to win.

  • amen to that

  • Too bad this guy dont get Credit

  • rocky marciano the greatest boxer of all time.

    marciano the true italian stallion!

  • all the arguments over who is better, whoever goes 50-0 will be the next best Hw of all time.

the second best ever is lenox lewis, he beat everyone who beat him and i think would beat marciano, but he didnt, hypothetical.

we can argue all day over the matchups. but one thing is true 49-0.

if fedor retires undefeated i will start calling rocky marciano the 2nd best fighter in modern history.

  • Your logic is completely off. Imagine if a guy defeates 50 bums, then he is the greatest? Every boxing fan and also the experts knows that the quality of the opposition you defeat is much more important.

  • LOL well if he was lucky enough to get 50 bums one after the other on every fight , i think maybe it was meant to be, too bad all those other boxers didnt get 50 bums too.

  • hey u cunt rock is d man beat em all in his day u shut ur fuckin gob cunt.

  • Comment removed

  • Italian strenght is unbeatable.

  • good job

  • determination ,willpower and strength

  • Old School, LOVE IT! Did Marciano use TOTAL GYM, BOWFLEX, BIOFORCE,....Hell no! Train as if going to WAR...OLD SCHOOL!!!

  • Marciano was the second coming of jesus thats why he never lost

  • and do you know who would whoop marciano. Would fight at the same weight as him if they fought, is tougher, is faster, and has more title defenses, beat more title holders, beat more top 100 boxers and has no losses? Joe Calzaghe. Marciano isn't really a heavyweight. If he fought today Calzaghe would slap his ass all over the ring.

  • lmfao marciano would beat slapzaghe to a bloody pulp :23 is calzaghe bro, calzaghe just tries to get points with punches that have no effect, calzaghe would have huge difficulties hitting marciano with all the dipping and diving and constant pressure, calzaghe is a pussy, he's not a light heavy or heavy, he's a middle weight who would get clobbered by James Toney, EH, Lennox, or any other hw if he really wanted to claim HW status Middle weight decent, heavy fail.

  • Comment removed

  • Vitali got his ass whooped by lennox? are you out of your mind? Winning on all scorecards and getting punched in a clinch that caused the cut is not getting your ass whooped. Lennox quickly retired. Haha Eddie Chambers couldnt beat Povetkin...how is he going to stand up to Wlad next year? Guess what he's not. Doesnt matter what shape he's in. And Vitali has never been down...never. You say Lennox beat Vitali's ass...hmm...Marciano was much more hurt in the 6th against Charles.

  • Looked like a beaten fighter to me in the commie Klitchoe's against Lennox. Now, I am not a Marciano fan at all BUT Marciano puts that bum in low orbit. Both brothers, same night.

  • Vlad fought his first quality opponent in 2003....Corrie Sanders was a world class fighter

at the time...and flattened vlad, also had vit all over the place in round one of their fight, bad knees limited his training and his endurance suffered.

  • marciano is a true warrior :)

  • I know, but be honest though, NO 38 year old man is going 13 rounds with Tyson. Marciano took a beating until the 13th. What was walcoltt still doing there in the ring with Rocky until the 13th ? You mean it took Rocky 13 rounds?

  • No 38 yr old is goint to go 13 rounds with Tyson? Of course Tyson wouldn't last 13 rounds against a great fighter. He would have bitten off the ear or got KO'd. Holyfield was 35 when he beat Tyson, and he would still beat him even at 45. Foreman at 45 would have beaten Tyson with no problem.

  • yea right truth.....Tyson was KO'ed 3 or 4 times before the age of 30....get of the glue

  • I'm not knocking the Klitschkos, I personally believe they have a shout against any heavyweight in history because they are huge punchers and highly sound boxers, they just don't bring excitement or a buzz to the division. Chris Arreola and David Haye will get sound thrashings at the hands of either brother, but I'd still rather watch them as they are more fun to watch, that is what the Klitschkos lack in my opinion.

  • I'm knocking them..bums.

  • whadusay norton beat rocky?? what???

  • There sure are a lot of retarded comments on here, I haven't quite figured out why people feel the need to diminish guys like Marciano, Louis and Ali and basically deny that they acheived anything in order to prove that they weren't great or that they were over-rated. Personally I'd love to see somebody like them hit the heavyweight division and bring the excitement back, which for all their efficiency and dominance, I don't feel the Klitschkos have done

  • I agree mate. Different fighters in different eras, they were all great. The Klitschkos are up there at the top, no doubt about it. Their only problem is that they are light-years a head of the competition and therefore have relatively dull fights. Imagine a seemingly unstoppable slugger like Marciano, or a 220 pound JC Chavez like Louis prowling the heavyweight ranks today!!!!
