Yeah, i noticed that. The song itselfs is similar to Silent Jealousy, if you compare lyrics and the melody of the song. And yeah, it's the same as "Weekend, I still love you, but i cannot carry on" part.

Still, Eyes of Venus is an awesome song, i love the part at 4:10 when Tetsu makes that sampling with his keyboard and then yoshiki makes that stuff with his crashes and his snare. completely amazing.

Finally have to comment here after watching the video countless times and having the bloody song stuck in my head for months. This is truly a wonderful song, Yoshiki's drumming is in top form and Tetsuya is amazing on the synthesisers as usual, his voice is an acquired taste, as I've noticed most of the comments say they don't care for it...but hey, matter of opinion, I think it complements the music well. A great piece from one of my favourite musicians and composers, thank you Yoshiki.

Well, I must admit, Tetsuya isn't that good in vocals but yes, he is the top keyboardist/pianist, tied with R. Sakamoto.

Jrockers are blind, I know, they can't see nothing because of their strong makeup.

TK is about 10 years older than Yoshiki and knows a lot more than him. Well, about them...they're close friends. Both helped Japan "Refreshing" the old music, TK with Jpop (ruled the 80's and 90's), and Yoshiki with Jrock (without him, Jrock today would get worse than actually is)
