  • 23,000 signatures for gun ban, (wtf) that is about one quarter of a small town

I Open Carried Valentine Day 2012 at the nearest Starbucks, did not see any "anti gun" people, but i do live in a Free State

  • I'm going to Starbucks today, not to open carry, but to buy coffee. I don't hardly ever buy coffee but I will today!

  • @WhyMeMoFo what the fuck is wrong with you? Do you live in la la land!

  • half these idiots that are anti gun also support our war efforts??? if you hate guns so much move to fucking england

  • that dumb bitch dont realize. maybe if her daughter was trained with and CARRIED A FUCKING GUN. she very well could have stopped the man that shot her.

  • It's laudable that Lori Hass would waste her life hating "guns" because her daughter was shot at VT. I could support her lobbying for tougher sentencing of criminals who use firearms while committing crimes or preventing unfit persons from acquiring firearms. I think she still suffers an agonizing deep hurt & for her to project her hatred at an inanimate object is a real indication she overdue for psychotherapy. The Brady Campaign is nothing more than an ultra-conservative terrorist group.

  • Yay Starbucks! I will buy a Grande Chai Latte every day of this fascist boycott!

  • Remember, it's a "gun policy" not a right to self defense.

  • lori hass is such a stupid bitch, why the fuck would you want to wait 5 mins for the police to get there before the robber is disarmed? fuck that i'd rather have myself or some one who is already there take care of the situation.

  • Gunfree*

  • Wow. Starbucks has earned my respect. Fuck these bitches. We should boycott the gun free places. They can't be hundred if they have no business right ? :-)

  • If we outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns.

    Fuck off, Lori.

  • You fucking idiots that don't like guns move you're stupid ass to limey land

  • "GOD BLESS THE STARBUCKS CEO" I will always support this co. and buy their coffee and every gun owner should drink starbucks coffee! :-) AMEN

  • That's not a clip, that's a magazine, you fucking stupid communist bitch reporter!!!

  • Does any one else see the genius in this? By allowing gun owners to open carry in all your stores, there will theoretically be less crimes committed in your stores. I mean come on, what dumb ass criminal would rob a starbucks now knowing that there could be armed civilians inside? Especially with the press advertising it for them! GENIUS! These other restaurants are stupid for not hopping on bored this obviously brilliant idea.

  • The minimum weight for a person to become a cop is 140 pounds, and may take 120 seconds to arrive. My GLOCK weighs less than 3 pounds, and can be ready the fire in about 2 seconds.

  • And how many gun shots have there been inside a Starbucks due to allowing law abiding Citizens to openly carry their firearm per State law? None. Just more slander, hearsay and bias from the anti-rights gun control groups.

  • @isaias1776 But (at least according to youtube) the first building to get smashed in riots is either MC Donalds or Starbuck..

  • to refute the argument of law enforcement around to protect people, US Supreme Court Case Warren v. District of Columbia states that no law enforcement agency is required or obligated to protect the individual citizen. this was the outcome when three women sued because police failed to respond to ther 911 call TWICE, and were subsequently sexually assaulted for 14 hours in their own home.

  • i'm actually pleasantly surprised because Starbucks usually donates to the Democratic Party.

  • how about a pro gun pettition for starbucks ?

  • FUCK THE BRADY CAMPAIGN. FUCKING ANTI-GUN LIBERALS. PAUL HELMKE CAN SUCK A FAT DICK INFECTED WITH STD'S. SUPPORT THE SECOND AMENDMENT. O-YEAH, AND FUCK ROSIE O'DONNEL, TOO, FUCKING BITCH!

  • I open carried in a starbucks in Springfield Mo just last Friday night. Nobody said a thing to me about my Glock 22 on my side. It felt so good to ber exercizing my 2nd amendment rights.

  • When you go out into the world just be prepared for what happens. The people carrying these weapons are permitted and been checked out by the police and they don't want to be victims. You basically have all control in you home outside of that deal with it.

  • Criminals prefer unarmed victims!

  • That dumb bitch, her daughter lost her life to nut job, no Cops where there to save her life, if law abiding citizens were carrying then she would have had a chance. 99% of the time Cops show up after people have been killed, so ...there ....Cops are not there to protect you, you are in charge of your own protection.

  • Also, what exactly is violent about carrying a gun?

  • 26,000 signatures is nothing. When the NRA has a petition going, it gets in the 100's of thousands of signatures.

  • Anti gun violence group? Are there any pro gun violence groups? These Brady people act like cops are on every corner.

  • @hughster41 watch?v=uu6L082l3T4

  • @hughster41 Wrong

  • @hughster41 Hitler was a totalitarian tyrant regardless of his view on the world he ist no different from any other tyranical leader. I hope they never take away guns. I love guns. But there is something between owning guns and carrying AR's and owning Full Auto's. Firearms are supposed to represent freedom and protect liberty and stop tyranny! Doesn't seem to be working in the USofA... people aren't doing their job!

  • @hughster41 You know ur countries a fail when you compare yourself to mexico. Compare yourself to german, france, england the modern world! Like I said in my last comment. Compare USA to the modern world not the third world! If you wanna carry around AK's theres plenty of countries in the world you can do so. You might have a higher chance of catching aids, malaria and get macheteed but hey, if that the company you like to keep so be it!

  • Lori Haas: take your disrespect for the constituion and your coffee business elsewhere, back to pansy land where people depend on others for protection. Me? ill go to Starbucks from now on just out of principle!

  • See, people like that Lori Haas make me so angry! She should be the 1st to speak out AGAINST gun bans on University campuses! Had there been just 1 other person at Virginia Tech that day that was armed, many people could've been saved! Imagine if the first classroom he went into to open fire on had a student in that class who was carrying... that situation could have ended before it even started!!! Guns don't kill people, they just help a lot! But where there's a will, there's a way!

  • if some one wants to carry a gun let them, people need to mind there fucking business if u don't want guns to be legal then movie out of the united states u pussy i don't if some gets mad at this freedom of speech witch is also one of r amendments so fuck off u anti gun bitches if u don't like guns then leave are 1 president started spring field armory so get use to it or leave

  • How can people bitch so much....

I'd feel safe knowing three people around me got a gun,

and if people want to do harm with guns, I doubt they'd care about their gun being legal or illegale.

  • @hughster41 cite your source! Oh and compare USA to other western countries like Canada, England , Germany not third world countries where they carry AK's and Uzi's around!

  • @hughster41 Yeah but her kid was shot...And that happens way more in the USA than any other country in the world.

  • @OperationThor You're absolutely right! But other countries, contrary to popular belief, have just as many guns, if not more, & their murder rates r minuscule compared 2 ours!!! So OBVIOUSLY it's not the guns, it's the crazy fuckers using some of em! So maybe we instead should take a good, hard look @ the way the media distorts our way of thinking!!! Our news is nothing but murders & rapes, opposite any foreign news! Nothing good ever even makes the news!... "If it bleeds, it leads!"

  • this lady in red has very quickly forgotten about Tucson, in which this congress woman got shot IN A MALL and no fucking law enforcement for miles in sight, well you can wait for your cops lady to help you out,i wait for my next round to chamber

  • Blackhawk SERPA holster for the win! Also, Lori... I hate to break it to you, but your daughter was injured in a 'gun free zone'; so much good that law did...

  • lady in the red needs to SHUT THE FUCK UP! IF PEOPLE WANT TO CARRY A HANDGUN, RIFLE , SHOTGUN EVEN A FUCKING BAZZOKA LET THEM! AS LONG AS THERE NOT FUCKING POINTING IT AT YOU , ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!

  • Lori Haas, of the Brady Campaign, said in the video "if Starbucks and other corporations don't come up with their own POLICIES with regards to firearms." Huh? I thought that's what she was fussing about - the POLICY at Starbucks of allowing firearms. Are all the Brady Bunch that wacky?

Anyway, the Brady Bunch can collect all the signatures they want. We have the most important signatures on our side - those on the Bill of Rights. Businesses just need to properly respect those signatures.

  • the brady campaign can kiss my ass!

  • I renounce Tim Hortons

  • i love starbucks. I love guns :) Talking guns is like talking motorcycles, they are just cool. Besides a gun saved my life last week by preventing a 100 lbs dog from mauling me when it jumped its damn fence while i was going for a walk.

  • Lori Hass is just as retarded as she looks.

  • 1:34 We have law enforcement to protect us? If that was effective, we wouldn't be talking about gun control!

  • If you don't get it, that's okay. We gun owners will protect you ladies when the government takes away the REST of your rights.

  • Lori Haas looks like the typical woman that has never had a vigorous fuck in her life...she's just pissed because she needs cock.

  • I think Starbucks should send an after 9PM reply on national TV to the Brady Campaign that reads something like this:

"Fuck off, we'll run our business on our terms, stop acting like you own people."

They could also release a new coffee called the Brady, just add salt.

  • Cheers from Delaware OC. Thumbs up if you're in the mood for a latte after watching the vid.

  • Assuming police are all just naturally good and would never abuse their power, stripping people of their open carry rights would simply leave them open too predation by criminals. The Police, even if they were the kind hearted snuffly nosed bunny rabbits that the media and anti-gun activists make them out to be, cannot be everywhere at once.

  • Guns SAVE lives

  • I'm a Desert Storm Veteran and I'm very proud of my team for killing Osama Bin Laden. He may have but you can never hide from Seal Team 6

  • @wiccanmoonman He...in regards to the CIA plant called Osama Bin Laden apparently evaded your "Seal Team 6" for over 10 years. Kudos...if he really is real and not a made up man congrats...only took you 10years and 5,000 Soldiers lives. Hope it was worth it.

  • @NaturalGroundation Too bad you weren't one of the 5,000

  • @wiccanmoonman Sigh...figures... of course that is what someone who survived armed combat would say. Great job honoring the dead.

  • @NaturalGroundation let me guess never served. You hide under mommies skirt ever someone tries to fight you for the bullshit you say I carry my gun everywhere for protection because of who I am. Most people don't agree with me being a transsexual female so I got protect myself. If this stupid law gets voted in in California it will be overturned by the supreme court as unconstitutional

  • @wiccanmoonman I am for Guns... We should be able to carry our guns on us concealed or not. It is constitutionally provided and they will be prying mine out of my dead cold hands. Now that is besides the point... Furthermore... I was simply stating the loss for one man (if he even existed) was too GREAT. I am for war when it is in the best interest of the USA. Them taking our guns away would be us giving our lives over to someone other than ourselves.

  • @NaturalGroundation Agreed If they take guns away from law abiding americans only criminals will have guns and they make criminals out of law abiding americans

  • Come on, think, people! Banning the ability to carry firearms prevented the shootings in Virginia Tech and other extremely vulnerable environments!

    ...Oh, wait.

  • @HeinzVonHans If one student at VT had a gun he would have been stopped SOONER instead of wait for the overweight security guards to save very few people.

  • @wiccanmoonman Exactly what my sarcasm was supposed to say.

  • Yeah for starbucks ! a pleasant surprise

  • What a dumb skank!!!!

I bet the first time this bitch is in a situation she'd be begging for a citizen with a gun.

"Guns in the board room" WTF does that even mean?

Is she suggesting that corporate executives with college degrees will take guns to meetings and start shooting each other?

    Stupid bitch!

  • It's a sad thing that happened at Virginia tech but if they were to allow law abiding citizens to openly carry do you think that the shooting would have happened if these anti gun people keep it up the only people with guns are going to be criminals they will be happy to have a nice safe environment to commit there crimes

  • Will some bright spark give us the statistics of what percentage of annual gun deaths in America are accidents(as opposed to intentional?)

  • What a dumb woman... A permit holder could've saved her kid's life if it weren't for all these dumb ass people not allowing guns. The people who abide by no laws, will always break the law.

  • did they just elude to the virginia tech shooter being an oc'er?

  • Anybody bother pointing out to that woman the "No Gun Zone" her daughter was murdered in did nothing to save her?

  • @Diraphe I'm glad her daughter is dead it cleans out the gene pool.

  • Funny how retarded people really have the face to match their dull minds! That Brady bitch needs a whole new face. I own 27 guns, and I don't bother to open carry, but I will no longer give the business to Peet's coffee, or even red lobster for that matter. Nothing like a Venti hot chocolate at Starbuck's!

  • Stand up for your right's or we are sure to loose them.Boycott ANY store that prohibits you from defending your self-period.

A Veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America” for an amount of “up to and including my life.”

They gave all-so we can live.

    Thank you,

    Henry

  • yep i sure would be a whole lot prouder and feel a hell of a lot safer to be in canada. how many years back was it when one man was making a run to the wa/ canadian border and the canadian crossing closed and fled. one man.. no wait you still havent said how you plan on protecting yourself and family cus it sure as hell doesnt seem like it will me your law enforcement

  • First off ,here in Canada I dont give two craps about the constitution and secondly ,I dont ever concern myself about something I have never seen in my whole life AKA a gun.

TIP!!!!! My son was gathering info about violence in today society and darn if these kids arent smart enough to start a thread on guns in the USA.. Thanks for defending your rite to bare arms .The bi-product is a showcase of violence in America.

Here is an other tip! They call me " the red herring!

  • I love Starbucks! I love the fact they allow me to exercise my rights afforded to me by the Constitution!

  • What a poor excuse to play the tough guy with a gun.

If you only knew the laughs us Cdn`s get at the sight of these fools carrying a brick around calling themselves FREE

  • @staywhereurat

Whats it feel like pissing on the Constitution? Please, feel free to share your stories of how you'd defend your family and yourself if someone attacked them and you ! We are all waiting!

  • @staywhereurat well us fools and our guns have saved your countries ass more times then not so your welcome keep laughin like a idiot and i'll keep my guns

  • @JeepGuy114 yEA Them WMD`s are a bugger to find,,better to send the AMEERICUN`s for that.

Thanks for being the trophy for all terroist . Im certain any scuds will fly right over me. thanks!

  • 1911... a mans man

  • I like how her daughter was injured in the vt shooting but she doesn't want people to carry a gun what a dumb bitch

  • F the brady campaign. Follow federal, state and local laws.....good for Starbucks.

  • @tuxinduluth

Amen! I'm so sick and tired of these Brady Camp. zombies assuming they know what is best for everyone else. If they don't care to defend their families from the scum that roam the streets, fine so be it. Their choice, but many of us cared to much to be sheep and victims!

  • Why is the brady campain so mad?

  • @SupremeAmerican

When aren't they pissed off about guns? One of the biggest groups of mindless robots!

  • guns in the boardroom? nice talk cunt.

  • Just one more reason to <3 StarBucks

  • good for starbucks a cell phone call will not portect my family.

  • California = bizzaro world

  • bout time i can protect my crappoccino

  • To: Lori Haas, there will never be a police or law enforcement officer whenever you need them. They would be off somewhere. Im in law enforcement and I know that I would not be able to go to every call but with the open carry law, I know that law biding citizen would do what is right when there are exigent circumstances

  • @MrMikeSam exactly. whenever someone tells me "You don't need that gun, we have police! They protect us!" I always say "Ok, what if somebody here were to get violent? Look around.... See any cops?" (the answer is almost ALWAYS 'no')

  • @MrMikeSam Yeah they're to busy eating Doughnuts LOL

  • FIREARMS IN THE BOARD ROOM MIGHT BE GOOD!

  • I would suppport starbucks, exept I dont drink coffee.....

  • Even though I hate Starbucks coffee, I give them props for respecting others rights. And that old guys 1911 is sweet, he has good taste ;)

  • Satrbucks is sticking to its....(awkward pause)......Principles

  • why do i carry a gun? because cops are too heavy

  • Umm.. but Starbucks doesn't serve alcohol like those other restaurants.

  • "we have law enforcement, we dont need people carrying guns" etc etc. What a nutty old bat. Police cant be everywhere, and id have to say, if i were a criminal, starbucks would be the last place id try to rob. An armed society, is a polite society

  • @joe735 for real. did anyone see a cop anywhere in that vid????

  • idaho CCW holder who carries inside grocery stores, malls, banks, gas stations, and at work..

  • "we have police officer, we dont need people carying guns into coffee shops." Funny how she forgets to mention that the police have absolutely NO duty to protect citizens... A cop could see a man robbing a bank and "turn the other cheek" if he decided to, and he would be perfectly within the law to do so.

  • hey and if someone was attacking with a gun everybodies first reaction is wat duck and take cover its a bodiely instinct duh and other thing is it is our job to make sure we aint shooting into a crowd and we shouldnt be if everyone is down job takin care of ddduuuhhhhhhand its called hours on the range learning ur gun like the back of ur hand muscle memory so many things come into play other then just pull and shoot shit i know what im shooting at and whats behind it ppl are somethin else

  • isl1968 wow you sound like and idiot yourself no offence but come on its called expressing our RIGHTS a place dont have to be dangerous to do so.you dont look for the most dangerous place to express freedom of speech do you we are law obiding if you dont know what that means not doing nothing wrongs...just stop and think of the positives about this...to me if a guy had a holstered gun next to me id feel safer to kno if a crimal came around with a gun id be takin care of

  • wow this ladies nuts lol she thinks of the negative the virgina shooting ok if she thinks of it that way lets just say that wouldnt happen at star bucks people are trippin ur everyday cop carrys no problems so i think everyone should be looking at it both ways we are law obiding ciztizen starting no problems and were being hurased its our RIGHTS so why cant ppl just respect that this is all our country

  • @isl1968 Your about as dumb as a box of rocks.... And maybe you can use your rocks next time your in a situation you cant get out of... Texas CHL Holder 24 hours a day...

An armed society is a polite society...

"Great Danger Lies in the Notion that We can Reason with Evil"

  • People are just the biggest scaredest pussyes a holstered gun is not hurting them.

  • @isl1968 I am glad you don't feel the need to protect yourself but with me being a mother of almost 4 I will do what I can to protect my family. That means carrying a gun. I sure the heck am not waiting for a cop to come and save me if a bad guy happens to show up shooting people. I am going to have my gun on me so I can protect myself and my family.

  • @ldsdragonmom Respectfully... I really don't think one can help by returning fire at a crazed indivdual. Let's say you are the hero and kill the guy shooting at everyone. That is super. Maybe 50% chance that will happen. That is a high number. the other 50% includes. hit another person. miss and direct firing on you and children 5 of you... misfire upon extraction of your firearm (hitting some else)... Police firing on you because you are firing your weapon. 50/50 that you and kids get hurt..

  • @isl1968 Do you have a source for the probabilities listed? Or is this simply a classic example of projection?

Here's a real life situation from last year where a customer with a gun saved several lives when he killed an assailant during a robbery attempt. I've linked part 2. URLs don't work so search youtube for 43ojSGUfetY

Many more stories on keepandbeararmsDOTcom. Especially in the archives.

We carry to have a chance of defending our lives. No other reason.

  • Here you go.Man accidentally shoots himself in testicles A man accidentally shot himself in the testicles at Lowe's Home Improvement store in Lynnwood Sunday afternoon, police said.Seattle Times staff RelatedA man accidentally shot himself in the testicles at Lowe's Home Improvement store in Lynnwood Sunday afternoon, police said. The man's handgun, which was in the waistband of his pants, went off at about 12:30 p.m. — an apparent "accidental discharge

  • @bnkrazy ," according to Shannon Sessions, a Lynnwood police spokeswoman."It made a loud noise and scared a lot of people in the store," Sessions said. "I believe he shot himself in the testicles and he also had some injuries to his leg and foot. He was obviously in shock."Nobody else was hurt and no one appeared to be with the man, she said.

  • @bnkrazy Police and fire responded, and the man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle before police had a chance to interview him extensively. Sessions had no further details about the man.Lynnwood police are continuing to investigate but "at this point it does look like it's accidental," Sessions said. A manager at Lowe's said store personnel are not commenting on the incident.

I guess you know where the projection is in this story

  • @bnkrazy Here is the source of my projection... One less kook with a gun... (seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2011994648_accident31m). Here is the stupidity in your arguement. Many people harm themselves and others with guns. More so when they don't have guns. You walking down the street tripping on the sidewalk is better than blowing what little balls you have all over yourself. I hope I changed your mind, but of course you can't handle the truth.

  • @isl1968 OK, so you found one article. And a pretty humorous example. You've got a ways to go to prove your case stated above though, as the site I mentioned lists hundreds of stories where a citizen with a firearm saved him/herself or others.

Also, "Nobody else was hurt" deflates your argument that people with guns hurt others. As for people hurting themselves, shall we compare firearms related deaths to, say, car accident deaths? I think the truth would conflict with your world view.

  • @bnkrazy Well that poor chum's wife I bet was pretty hurt to know her man's package was blown to bits... I haven't examined your site but you know I will. Car accident deaths?? Really..Let's compare the average citizen vs. police usage and then we will see who the real hero's are, apples (police) to sour apples (kooks with guns). People with training OR people able to sign a form or two stating they are of sound mind. Wow that really makes me feel safe viewing some of your proponents, live

  • @isl1968 The comparison to car accident deaths is to show that exercising a right has much less impact on daily lives than a privilege.

Regarding police vs. citizens carrying guns, I have a friend in the local PD here (Henrico, Co Va) You would be surprised to learn what little qualification requirements are.

I'm quite sure that you'd be content to call 911 while your wife or daughter is being attacked. I'm just not that person that will wait around for the police to try and do something.

  • @bnkrazy... Well, let's just go out on a limb and compare it to lightening strikes... I have the right to play golf in a Thunderstorm its my right... 2nd The suprise is what little qualification requirements police have is 100x more than the average "open carry citizen" with no training, a bus, and a ride to Walmart for purchase of a gun a will rarely shoot. If my wife and daughter were being attacked I surely wouldn't shoot at them or even point a gun at them, besides you haven't met my wife.

  • @isl1968 There you go with unsubstantiated statistics again. How do you know that police have 100x more training than those that carry? That's the case sometimes perhaps, but there are also police that only unholster their firearm during yearly qualifications.

I shoot upwards of 400 rounds a weekend from May-Oct. Also, many of those that carry also practice by competing in IDPA or IPSC matches. Don't assume that training is ignored. It is in fact encouraged.

  • @bnkrazy Mr. Krazy not one stat from you either... but that's ok... yeah cops are falible but they can pay big bucks for their mistakes through Municipalities, can your average "Open Carry Citizen" are they bonded do the have "I almost got him; but got the old lady instead OOPs insurance. No.. you see it's not all about your rights, its sometime about those who are in your way. I don't care if you are Annie Oakley don't shoot my way...live target very different...

  • @bnkrazy... for the sake of arguement explain to me what and how you would take on an attacker with a gun... attacking meaning choking, kicking, grabbing... or attacking her car. I can see you shooting someone attacking her vehicle with her in it so let's not assume that scenario. Please enlighten you fellow carriers of how correctly address the attacker with a gun... This is your opportunity to shine...

  • @isl1968 Ideally, she would never get in a position where she is attacked, as we both watch our surroundings and don't put ourselves in harms way.

If someone did manage to surprise us and was simply choking/kicking/grabbing her, it is unlikely that situation would require the use of a firearm.

This isn't all or nothing. There can be times when a firearm is of use, and other times it would not be. You didn't throw away your fire extinguisher because you didn't need it today did you?

  • @bnkrazy There you go... you didn't need a gun to "never get in a position where she is attacked" perfect, now we are getting somewhere. Like the coffee shop, pretty safe even without a gun. Well let us hope there is no use for a firearm if someone is choking/kicking/grabbing your wife because if that is the case the guy doing it may be a concealed carrier. Hunting is a good use for a gun. Let me guess you open carry an extinguisher too. Dam Fireman what the hells next. Open carry mailman.

  • @isl1968 OK, one last time and I'll let you go off to live in Utopia.

You missed the first part of the quote. "Ideally, she would never get in a position..." Ideally being the key word. Because you can't predict when bad things will happen, I believe you should be prepared. If you'd rather depend on someone else with a gun or fire extinguisher, good luck with that.

I have a fire extinguisher in my car. Apparently you believe others will always be there to rescue you. Again, good luck.

  • @bnkrazy... tushay...and we will let it go at that... I'm headed off to Utopia... can't miss that left turn at Albuquerque......

  • @ldsdragonmom amen to that.

  • @isl1968 it called you carry the coffe in your non gun hand

  • @swatcapt11 alright smart guy... how do you load it if it's not loaded... It's like asking "what time is it" while you are holding your coffee in the hand where your watch is located. I bet you spill coffee on yourself a whole bunch, partner.

  • @isl1968 then i guess you will have to drop your coffee let me ask you something how do you plan throwing your coffee in someones face when you have a lid on it

  • @swatcapt11... a $4 cup of coffee are you crazy... I'm not the hero... you are remember... you are the guy with the gun. I am pretty good with my hands and feet if close enough I would react cautiously with malice... if not close enough well I would comply with the lunatic and take cover... Hell you never know with those "open carry citizens" their coffee may be cold and they may lose a screw. From what I see on these videos they look like the can blow at anytime.

  • @isl1968 Starbucks is less dangerous now because law abiding citizens open carrying will deter a psychopath gun men onto softer targets like California Pizza Kitchen where he can kill everybody instead of getting killed himself taking out only 1 innocent soul in Starbucks. Simple math statistics, psychopath want to inflict maximum casualties, simple logic they don't like being shot at either.

  • @isl1968

Lol, you're getting buried into oblivion. Ever thought you may be an idiot?

  • @isl1968 Who would have thought you would need a gun in a small town waffle house? Well as it turns out they did. Two open carriers were sitting in a Georgia waffle house when a guy casing the place saw them went back to the car with other bad guys planning on robbing it. They decided to wait until the two left to rob it. But a cop got to them as the OCers were leavin. You never know where the next crime is going to occur it would be going to Starbucks, at Starbucks or leaving Starbucks.

  • @isl1968 I'd reather have an OC sitting next to me than your peace and love hippie ass I carry concealed myself and have permit moron

  • she is wrong the store owns if she is refering to starbucks they cant have a no gun policy as they are a cooperation. i also love how she called the mags clips at least she should know the right terminology for what she is reporting

  • @swatcapt11 Actually, privately owned businesses can and do set policy regarding firearms. The 2A does not apply to private business. Jared jewelers and Wachovia bank are examples that ban firearms. Suntrust bank and Chipotle Grill on the other hand have no problem with them.

You may be thinking of public property like county gov't offices and state/county parks. Virginia's preemption statute mandates that no locality can create or enforce firearms regulation and that the state law is supreme.

  • @bnkrazy starbuck is not considerd privately owned because it is a corperation. IT IS NOT a franzied if it was then they could but if the corp office says that we allow guns hen there is not a thing the stores can do about it, Please know law before you post

  • @swatcapt11 You are confusing corporate policy with VA state code, as well as butchering the English language.

Please understand there is a difference in how private businesses (franchise or not, Starbucks is a private business, not a public entity) can run their stores, and what state and local gov't entities can do concerning firearms regulation.

  • @bnkrazy First off sorry for be DYSLEXIC. Next starbuck is a corporaction there for their corp office says what all their stores can do. Why do you think that the fucking brady campany is try to make them change policy. You really need to do your homework before you post.

  • @swatcapt11 For the last time, a corporation is no different than a mom and pop owned store as far as state law regarding firearms is concerned.

You can't seem to see the distinction I'm making between public and private entities, so I'm giving up.

I don't even know why this is still an issue...Starbucks has obviously rejected the Brady Campaign's initiative.

  • @bnkrazy you implyed that each starbucks can say no to having open carry in their stores stores. all i am say is that each store cant do that them being a priviely own businies is right i now that i said thay each store itself is not prively own. That is why each store cant not make a gun free zone in any of their stores

  • 43 states dont have open carry! 7 maybe but not 43.

  • @DESERTHAWKIN I don't know of any other states but even Communist California allows open carry but the gun must be unloaded.

  • You know that reporter wanted to say "They're sticking to their guns" You just know it. The lady who says they don't need it, that fine and dandy if she doesn't like it, but guess what, our rights are not up for petitioning away or for a vote.

  • good for Starbucks, it's really nice to know that the Police are being professional about this as well

  • MAGAZINES NOT CLIPS!!!!!!

  • someone should tell lori haas that her daughter would not have been injured at virgina tec. if it was not a "gun free zone" iff the ppl she is sitting here bitching about had been there chances are he would have killed alot less. we have police and thats great but who is going to protect me from the armed crimanal until they get there?? That is the same question her daughter should ask. Ppl these days are so stupid.

  • i gave up coffee 3 years ago. But I'll stop by for a glass of orange juice tommorrow.

  • go STARBUCKS!!

  • Go Starbucks! Why not? So long as the person(s) is following local law there should be no issue. +1 Starbucks.

  • this lady is stupid "they don't need to carry guns, thats what cops are for" o by the way her daughter was injured in the VT indecent. ...........................cops were a little late there weren't they?

  • @subysuby

LOL! She's a moron because she probably thinks her daughter's killer was open carrying legally by being on that campus to begin with. Oh the ignorance.

  • Let us hope our weapons are never needed --but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military, the hired servants of our rulers. Only the government -- and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws.

    -- Edward Abbey

  • fuck yeah starbucks

  • I have been to a lot of places and I have never needed a gun even once.

  • @Dragonfly6160 ....Its better to have and not need then to need and not have

  • dragonfly ur as ignorant as the dumb female on the video trying to take our rights away. you can go blow dogs for quarters!

  • Why does anyone need to carry a gun to buy a cup of coffee?

  • @Dragonfly6160 Why not?
