What kind of movie can I not stand? It's the romantic/romantic-comedy genre. The formula for this is so basic: boy meets girl, they fall in love, there's a conflict that breaks them up, somehow they have an epiphany and end up back together. The are only SO MANY ways to make movies for this genre, and I think the movie industry has run out of new ideas because everything coming out now is pretty much the same. It's like making cookies with a cookie cutter, so they all are identical. UGH.
