Yes, this is all very clever until you wake up one night and it's looming over you and staring with it's cold dead eyes, gripping a massive carving knife and mumbling something about 'there never being enough oil kept in the house and you not caring about it's feelings' .
It's just a robot talking people:)) calm down..and he who says no to technology...it's just a brain washed man by the corrupt institution of the church. People must advance as much as they can in technology, it's own way...never to stop...:) and it's a good way.
Wow, all I could think of the whole time was this:
Revelation 13:15 "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." (King James Version)
@Decoded69 Yup, that sounds good. Stop technology. Why don't we go back to the dark ages while we're at it? Sign me up. Hell, pissing in a bucket and marrying my brother sounds fun.
Yeah sounds fun maybe for you. But I meant Were good where we are at, As soon as people invent stuff for good intentions, people will make something bad of it. Maybe you want to live in aworld with fucked up powerfull andriods Trying to run the human race, maybe in a 100 years from now... who knows...BUT I DONT!
Robots like this should be developed to serve us. Let's say I work in a Factory and I get laid off because of a robot like this. who benefits from the labours of this device? the corporation who owns it does, certainly not me or any other of my co workers. If we are going to have these in our society, then the common person should own them and lease it out to corporations. this way the corporation have a labour force that does not complain, does not get fatigued or require extended vacation time
con't and the common person has an income derived from its labours. Just as a corporation would lease a vehicle they could lease a robot from an individual to work in their factory thus paying the lease fee, maintenance and programming costs. anybody have any thoughts on this?
@leppy111 There are robots who work in factories and they do not need to look like a human and have emotions, because they are just massive programmed robot arms who do things much better than humans, like building cars.
I don't think that robots should have human rights.I mean think about it,giving rights to a hunk of metal and silicone.he doesn't even have REAL emotions,or REAL pain.they jus have processors, sensors, motors.people who agree give thumbs!
@thecooliest123456 random but in the future they will be so realistic you will feel like they have emotions. watch atificial intellegence the movie you'll know what i mean
@thecooliest123456 With current technology no but later on yes. Human brains process data somewhat similar to a robot and if you get a robot advanced enough it can be like us but right now it pretends to have emotions and stuff.
Yeah they never will be, if we stop trying to improve them.....FFS they're trying to make SEX bots that are better then the real thing....think about it, its the next step in evolution and we will be the downgrade.......
oh god i think i have a couple of these nwo robots that jetztdiewahrheit talking as co-workers not joking but seriously they are mean to me and im nice person
Personally people are a little too paranoid about A.I. and Androids. IF and I seriously mean IF Androids became advanced enough or smart enough to actually think on their own or to develop self preservation (Kinda like the Matrix senario), then WOULD we give them the same basic human rights as humans? If they are human in every aspect except biological form, would they deserve the same rights as humans? I personally think yes.
I wanna hear your opinion on the matter, so reply or send me a PM.
I'm sure the developers of a SkyNet-esque system would feel the same way.
It all boils down to how sophisticated their programming is. Does the code analyze problems encountered and seek solutions? Does the code have the ability to take in new information and make decisions based on that information? Does it have the ability to learn? Such programming is very common - although, granted, not commonly combined. But it could be - and that's where the concern comes from.
Interesting, but in your opinion do you think that we should be concerned about the possibility of doomsday or entire A.I. Rights movements happening in the future? Of course such things may never occur in our lifespans, but in your own opinion do you think that these things will be good or bad?
I think it's something to think about. I don't think we should go crazy about it. But it's something to look into. And whether or not something will happen in our lifetimes isn't the issue. The issue is whether or not it will happen at all.
Without guidance - and as technology gets more powerful - I believe someone somewhere at some time would be stupid enough to create an autonomous human-like AI.
As for AI rights... does my laptop have rights? No. It's an object - not a person.
Now that said, I think there are good things that can come from such research and AI development. There is a world of possibility for AI's - in nearly every aspect of life.
Imagine with robot, the NWO will have the cold killer to control and kill who they want. I heard that they already has robot perfect that nobody can notice if is human or robot and they not show to people, they show us these ones very innocent with friendly smile. But the true use to them they not tell us. We can imagine , right ?
New World Order?? For real? so he's been created by the illuminati? This is very worrying indeed..if they make clones of these thats no fantasy, thats a suppression robot created to further enhance the reign of control the illuminati have on us already! Check out Alex Jones for further info about illuminati
those people who belive in movies like i robot and terminator are just idiots...look at the bright side of this robotic future witch im looking forward..a robot helps you in your everyday life like cooking cleaning or what else you might think of AND its not gone replace humans..robots,nanobots,traveling in space and everything else---that's future and you can't fight it...your living in it
hahahah it didn't really told anything that kinda.. it's scripted to do those things do you really believe that robots can talk with humans like they want and just randomly say for some baby "i will come and find you when you grow up" :D of course that robot doesn't know what is it and what does it say. it's just piece of metal, plastic and silicon
I wont argue with the possibility that the robot might be scripted, however I believe it isn't. Have you ever had a conversation with a "Chatter Bot"? Google "chatter bot" and you can have a conversation with a computer in no time. It's pretty fun/freaky. This robot works just like a chatter bot, only it responds by voice recognition software instead of text input. That is how I know it is not scripted, because I have talked with a similar program myself.
well it's scripted to say that baby thing of course :D "when you grow up i will come and find you.." robots cant' really say something like that and understand that they said it and know what it ment they are just computers. btw i know those chatterboxes they are good but i don't believe that robot can see who's baby and who isn't. btw have you seen video "Invertuality: Jules ponders sexuality...." at least that is so scripted. watch it from youtube if you haven't see it
You underestimate the power of the robots. LoL. In all seriousness, the cameras in the eyes feed visual data to the computer and a facial recognition program can determine relative gender, age, and mood based on algorithms. It is very complex but also very effective. I agree that the sexuality thing was scripted.
well after 20 years robots are so crazy that we can't even believe it yet. but there's really just few good robots now and they cost more than anything.. this robot looks awesome and it have realistic smiles and all but it can't walk. have you seen zou ren ti and other robots they look also like humans but most robots are scripted and kinda stupid. btw these kind of robots are so new invetion. imagine how fast airplanes got better :D so these will soon run faster and longer distances than humans
The hanson robotic creations use a chatterbox style psuedo AI. It has a huge database of information that it logs onto remotely and pulls from it information to construct intelligent responses to audio and visual stimulus as well as in response to whatever it had previously said in the immediate past. The robot obviouly spends the majority of it's life giving wrong answers until it fills it's database with enough information.
great point, which in my view is really the only way we can develop AI on a level much like our own. He weighs roughly 600lbs so the only chance we have of something like Jule being completely autonomous (i say so cuz thats what they should be!) is to use Nano-technology.

TUInHighDef 2 years ago
The moment the programming learns self-preservation (look at self-preserving viruses, for example) and learns to say "No" the we have a problem.
Once these traits are combined, there is cause for concern:
- Problem solving
- Information I/O
- Learning / Adaptation
- Self-preservation
