Hey bro, no only MP's and select MOS's have to do this. All Marines have to do the gas chamber annually but it is nothing compared to OC spray.

You wont get OC'd in boot. However, you will go through the gas chamber.... also called the "Confidence chamber" which sucks, but not as much as OC spray. Have fun at boot and dont spill the peanutbutter.

In the Police Department training, they have to get OCed with a 1 second burst from an inch away, their eyes held open. Then subdue and handcuff someone and read their name off their drivers license.

i was sprayed with oc combined with cs when i was in the police academy...it was horrible! The spray crystalizes in your eyes and it feels like someone taking there fingernails and scratching the dookey out of em...o and it burned like dookey too.
