Whoever said what you quote at the beginning of this film should be fired. Because something is of little interest to those ignorant souls "under 40", it is of no value? Does that mean we should abandon military cemeteries because the wars were fought long ago and their histories are unfamiliar to the younger generations who have been poorly served by modern education? If the fund says "we don't have the money" you may not like it but you can understand. This asinine reasoning is unforgivable.

Having read your online project diary with great interest for years I still find it difficult to believe what the HLF were thinking of. Furthermore how much of everyones time they wasted. Travesty !

Im looking forward to the day this stunning piece of British history zooms across Coniston once again. Well Done Bluebird Team !!
