that was done frame by frame in photoshop.

How did you do this? Did you use some kind of camera or somthing?

The overall stop motion animation effect was dome just with an ordinary digital camera and Quicktime. As for the overall messed up color effect, that was youtube's fault. You can see the normal version (as well as a bunch more animations) at my channel.
