Fight on Liza! I remember seeing this on TV when it aired and I hunted for years to find a recording of her singing it. It gave me chills, campy male chorus and all. I'm so happy to finally have this video you have no idea.

HIV devastated a generation. I had to throw out my address book because it seemed on every page was the name of someone I'd loved that I watched die from this terrible disease. I was tired of bursting into tears every time I looked at it.

She made her own! That's why "God bless the child" is still sung by her! Sure, if your Liza, it was easy to be interviewed for a job, but she needed her incredible talent to be LIZA! And yes, I'll concede that a lot of it is genetic. But then, why was LIZA a superstar and Lorna never achieved this lofty goal. Liza got that Drive from her Mama and her dreams from her Father!
