The Drywall Plug dot com has a better and faster, more permanent version of this basic idea. It's available at Lowe's Home Improvement, Menard's and Ace Hardware across the US and Canada. Unlike this "kit" it only takes any novice 5 minutes to complete the repair and it's "PATENTED".

too much work for a small hole just use a patch kit.

wow are u stupid not only did u do way more work than needed you didnt even do a good job. all you need is some spakle a wall patch sand paper and obviously paint, no need to cut and all the other shit he did

Yes, for a hole that size, I think a fiberglass patch or two (criss cross) and some spakle would do the trick. However, this may be easier for some people.
