we should have let BOA fail. we've been a cust for years and ALWAYS paid on time with ALL or our creditors. because of a change in our credit rating (supposedly) they doubled our interest and would not consider changing it back! since we have excellent credit, we found another lender which took our debt for even LESS than our previous interest at boa! the point is, take your business elsewhere if creditors fail to treat you fairly!!! sickens me to think my tax dollars are helping these jerks!!!!

I suggest people stop accepting Bank of America checks. They refuse to honor them at par value to those trying to cash them. They charge $5 of the victim doesn't also have an account in their crooked bank. That's right, if you write me a check for $20 and I take it to your BofA bank to cash it, they'll only give me $15 for it. Boycott the crooks! And don't even accept their checks. Tell anyone trading with you to get an account at a legitimate bank.

It is YOUR choice. No one is holding your hand walking into the banking center and making you go there to cash your check.. Go to your own back and cash it? If you hate BOA THAT much why are you even stepping foot in there?

Also, they do not charge a fee on personal checks.

And-- Business have the choice to either pay the fee or leave it for you to pay. So your employer chooses not to pay, that is not BOAs fault.

This is a legal case in Texas and Illinois where the crooked Bank of America is trying to defend their crooked practice of refusing to honor their own checks at par value. They are contesting a ruling that they have a debtor relationship with the depositor and are obligated to pay the amount on the check. They are sleazy thieves, it's why I moved to a legitimate bank when I discovered they were stealing like that.

That bored? No, I'm that decent, unlike Bank of America. I had an account with the crooks. It didn't cost me anything to cash checks there. But I found out they were stealing from people, that they wouldn't honor my checks at par value. I closed my account and told them why. Later I found that while they require all sorts of IS and SSN from citizens, they don't for their beloved mexican criminals. So I spread the word. Americans should use legitimate banks instead of the crooked BofA.
