 I've little doubt that an F1 car would beat it's Indy counterpart (at least if turning right were also part of the equation). But, if watching the comparison in this video is entertaining, I still think it would be cool to line a Ferrari up against a Penske and watch.

Now go look up some facts on F1 and Indy and you will see that it is like matching a Ferrari F430 Scuderia to a Mustang GT. Would that be entertaining to watch? No.
