  • Good job. How much did you weigh at this time?

  • Don't bounce it off your chest, that's using the momentum of your chest to bounce the weight back up. It'll give you almost no results.

  • fuc supplements

  • Awesome! you went from a scrawny dude to a F'n big guy too .. what kind of routines lifts or whatever the F you been doing, pass the knowledge lol. Thanks

  • goodJob!

but you could have seen success sooner if youd use proper bench form. Arch back slightly, chest out , keep feet angled back,--> elbows tucked in.. then drop the bar nipple height or upper abs area..

  • You know I'm not a big fan of single rep sets. And it looks like you were doing them almost weekly. Some weeks you are strong, and some weeks you might be off form. When you keep failing, you beat yourself up about it. I train with a little bit more weight than normal and hit the reps more. When that gets stuck, more weight and less reps. THEN the big single. Like maybe one single in 6 months. But when you hit that single.. You smash the shit outta your previous. Good job mate ;)

  • Awesome job man...I was benchin 450 in 2006 while i was in afghanistan and shortly after we came back stateside I suffered a broken back as a result of my job with the army...After four and a half years of whining about how hurt I was and how ill never be back there again Im finally on my way, only puttin up 350 right now but ill get there eventually...Your quote at the end of this video is right...Keep fightin man

  • @jaredanson454 I think you've shown well enough what type of person you are. I'll leave your intelligence and credibility open to the interpretation of the rest of youtube. This is my last comment.

  • @jaredanson454 You never asked me for mine. But, now I'll give them to you. Look up: "Fundamentals of the Bench Press Arch" by Neal Dreisig, that should be a good start.

  • @jaredanson454 Someone still hasn't elaborated on the source of his wild ideas...

  • @jaredanson454 Funny thing about guys like you. You make wild claims and when push comes to shove you have nothing to back it up. At least now, the rest of the youtube viewers can see you exposed for your immaturity as well.

  • @jaredanson454 Out of curiosity, where did you get the idea that arching your back causes injury? Sources please.

  • @jaredanson454 Alright bro, people like you are so ignorant, its irritating. Have fun being a shit lifter with a shoulder injury caused by over rotation that could've been avoided by shortening the range of motion through an arch. For the record, the back is significantly stronger in the arched position. But, you don't need to take it from me, look at any Powerlifter.

  • @jaredanson454 not true.

  • @jaredanson454 i can agree with the sternum thing but you can arch your back all you want, watch some powerlifting videos its just technique

  • @slyguy1500 holy fucking shit seriously?! 385 that insane i think people sometimes take it for granted because we are bombarded with numbers all the time but 385 is fucking insane bro great work imma try for 170 pretty soon

  • very impressive!! you going to try for 400??

  • @hinder400 see he wants to talk shit about my spotters just holding the bar the whole time. thats called GOOD SPOTTING. not like his buddys....like Oh the bars about to crush him i guess i better pull the bar up. wtf haha.

  • nice man. good to see someone work that hard

  • Hey man sick vid .. By any chance, can you fill me if you use suppliments.. If so what do you recommend?

  • very impressive and inspiring!! i know what its like to be stuck at a certain weight on the bench press, it can be VERY annoying. but i admire your determination. GREAT job, keep up the good work!!

  • @JoshBroughtonMMA lol I wish, but no I can't claim it. But it is the most true quote I ever heard!

  • nice!
