Im stuck here... I can take out one mage almost right away, both the guys next to the boss guy are easy... but for some reason no matter how many times i tell them to attack the other mage no one will attack it. I have the dog, and usually he takes down mages in 2-3 hits but he keeps running away from the mage no matter how many times I tell him to attack. I had a good strategy going for boss, running in circles while morrigan attacks, but the mage is effing me over.

dude if the game allows you to destroy the ashes of corse there is a way to do it whitout falling the quest if you played along with the dude its would be much easyer to get the ashes and kill him

@jamister91 i knew about them i just thought alister leaves too. after all my playthough i realized that if you don't play "paragon" even for one moment, you will stay with the feeling he's going to murder you in your sleep for the rest of the game...which is one of the reasons i hate alister like hell.. you were betrayed, the whole world think your a murdered and hates you, and your as poor as anyone... you can't stop the blight if you don't save a bit of strength for yourself as well.

@jamister91 what made me REALLY hate him is that all the game he wants to murder you for doing the neccessery, but in the end he prefers to give the throne to anora, who is clearly like her father and doom anyone just so he doesn't have to be king. i mean all the game he is willing to slow me down to help random strangers, but now he wants to sacrifice ALL OF FERELDAN for his own good?! its like he is an angel when you suffer, but if its him then NOOOOOO.

I think you are hot-heaaded, if you would have listened to his proposition more then you would have known that it is not his intent to destroy only to desecrate. You can also just take some of the ashes before you desecrate them.

Oh if you kill the dragon you get a dragon scale, which allows for dragon armour, whether that be medium, heavy or massive. There is a cheap way to kill the dragon, I just found out but you can only do it with a single mage with a healing spell. (Your morrigen for ex)

And Kolgrim gives you a powerfull warrior specialization.
