    I would love to try this myself sometime. When can we expect things like this to be accessible to the average consumer?

  • It's not targeted at the average consumer or for home use, it's a motion capture system for game developers.

  • True. I guess the best use for this would be to create character animations and such. However, in the way it was demoed in the video, it would be possible to utilize this motion capture as a game feature. Of course, past experiences with such "features" ended up being nothing more than a gimmick unfortunately. I hope that one day, this kind of tech could be used in games, on the consumer side.

    Luckily I'm a developer and own a Torque license, so I might be able to give this a go one day! :-)
