Thanks for posting one of my old video's. Filmed in late 2005. I think I have it in hi res still.
As for the action at 3:45, it was a calculated risk we took for the sake of the film. Please don't try this at home! This was over 6 years ago and haven't tried it since.
Brilliant bit flyin true skill you guys got great video, Im Plane & Heli flyer but Iv been tryin to decide which plane to get I like Yak 55 awesome plane but so is extra 300 please help me decide haha oh i like bit at 3.45 brilliant
please....tech me the rolling harrier, I have a small 47'' Extra 300 and while I know the theory, the thing won't do it (and I am GOOD, I do anythiung else you can imagine). Should I use low rates and max ailerons, what power should I use? I can get it going for 5 seconds only and going too fast to control...not really harrier. Any hint I will appreciate! thanks!
I am an rc pilot too, and the rolling harrier is a difficult maneuver to master. The rc sim is probrably your best bet at mastering it in theory, then try it out on the real thing, but make sure you got lots of altitude!
But im sorry to say it, even though it was awesome and cool then 3:45 doesnt belong to this hobby, if the motor had cut off, he would have got the whole plane over him, and could have been seriously ijuried :O
Thats just my oppinion, but apart from that, Great flying! and lovely planes :D
