  • YOU NUT! GET OUTTA TOWN!!!

  • Scout: Today ain't ya day, Pancakes!

  • Today ain't ya day pancakes.

  • He blew it. XD

Those are not pancakes, they're waffles.

  • im glad Joel is on the Big Bang Theory

  • @Xeivous Seriously?

  • @Kefka44 yea, i havent seen him in anything else, unless u count that T Mobile commercial. i think its good for him

  • @Xeivous Joel went and did stuff behind teh camera. Currently he is doing Cinematic Titanic with 4 of the other MST3K crew, Josh Weisnstein(original servo/larry) Mary Jo Pehl(Dr Forresters mom pearl) Trace Beauleiu(first crow and dr forrester) and frank Conif(TVs Frank)...meanwhile Rifftrax is mike melson, bill corbet and kevin murphy-the last 3 actors in the series doing crow, mike and tom. Lots of movie mayhem still happening look it up.

  • @thorinbane I wish CT actually did more work, though. I was excited to check out their site a while back only to find like a total of 11 movies. I guess they're concentrating mostly on live shows.

  • @didgeboy287 Yeah they started out pretty strong. I just got the insect war one. It was good, but Alien Factor is epic. Also of note one of the 'stars' was also in Galaxy Invader for Rifftrax. Both of these are great cheesy movies and both riff crews did a great job on their respective movies. 5 star on both for riffs and -1 star for movie. Hey Manos is being restored and in HD. I donated, hope Joel and crew get in on this to reriff it. Be a great easter egg track or something.

  • Would've been such a fun show to work on

  • You fail.

The correct answer was cheese danish. Yes, the answer we were looking for was Cheese Danish, but you did get $20, and we have some lovely parting gifts for you.

A big round of applause for Joel, everybody!

  • You nut, get outta town!

  • he almost laughed before he said pancakes

  • NO. this is why they got rid of joel. day after day they'd try to get the waffle skit down, and he juts kept fucking up, on purpose even out of spite. So they eventually contacted the local teamsters union (who had mob connections) and had his femurs broken in such a way that he could never leave the house without help. He later died in a beet harvesting accident in North Dakota.

  • @ingwersengrady lolwut?

  • @ingwersengrady

    BULLSHIT.

  • @ingwersengrady Uh, no. That story is poop. Joel left because of creative differences between him and Jim Mallon and he does Cinematic Titanic to this day.

  • @TheHambone12 Nope!

  • @ingwersengrady both femurs eh?

  • @ingwersengrady: How can one die in a beet harvesting accident?

  • @RockyBalboa211 You are clearly unfamiliar with the size and weight of your average sugar beet. While on route back to a field in his truck, a passing truck that had been overfilled had a few spill out and broke his windshield...unable to see the road, he couldn't avoid one of the many 300ft + cliffs that make up the north dakota countryside. And although his beet truck's ejection seat did fire, his parachute did not open in time.

  • @ingwersengrady i always wondered why joel left. Those fools never considered his anti waffle spasms were most likely the result of some childhood trauma -or ,maybe just bad weed

  • @upeoplermorons He left to start another show that lasted about 3 weeks on comedy central.

  • @ingwersengrady He never again ate a pancake.

  • @ingwersengrady That sounds like the fate of the "creator" of Manos, the Hands of Fate.

  • @starwarsfanboy1138 well sometimes the tv station a show plays on wants to make sure they get a say on what goes behind the scenes of the show.he felt they were basically writing the show themselves.

  • @starwarsfanboy1138 he left on his own because he was losing control of the show.

  • Just one well-screwed up word from him and I'm laughing my ass off. I love these guys.

  • Comment removed

  • Where did this footage come from?

  • ... Pancakes

  • Just one simple line and he BLOWS IT UP!!!

  • @DarkNeonNightmare LOL especially since that whole episode is about WAFFLES !!!

  • I met him at Cinematic Titanic last year, he's very mellow and kindly. :3

  • Joel = adorable.

  • They look more like Matza (and sound like it, also) .

  • Even the outtakes are comedy gold! That's how great this show is!

  • If you listen carefully, you can also hear Trace saying; "Wrong, wrong, wrong!"

adding that with Kevin's remarks makes this blooper comedy gold! :D

  • PAAANCAKES

  • I don't see what the difficulty is. The man has a plate of pancakes and you penalize him for identifying them as such?

    ...Oh, wait. Oh.

  • @AniRemi You nut get outfa here.

  • @maxcardun I'm sorry!

  • Pancakes.

  • if you like this try to track down any rough cut versions of mst3k episodes..has all the in between stuff left in when they "leave the theater" and then "come back in",actually they just sit there and joke around for a few minutes while the powers that be line up the next section of the movie to riff....and its hilarious..a must see for any fan

  • The first time I saw the blooper reel, I watched and re-watched this part about a dozen times. I don't know why, but it just kept getting funnier.

Mike was great, but I still have a soft spot for Joel. He created the show, after all.

  • i did this at iHop last night

  • It's weird hearing "Tom's Voice" off stage, but it's weirder hearing "Crow's New Voice" after that.

  • It seems weird hearing Kevin interact with Joel. You don't hear that happening anymore. That's way too bad.

  • The man blew a one word sketch. Must have been a long day.

  • I could watch this over and over again. I dunno why.

  • like in Cabin Fever??!!

  • For the record, he was supposed to say "Waffles", which was the running gag throughout that episode.

  • Pancakes! :D

  • I'm still bummed the show ended.

  • @satanicmechanic86 There is still Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax, but yeah... I'll miss Dr. Forrester and the host segments too :(

  • How did he blow it?

    That's the joke.

  • @Trey2148 The joke was the entire scene was supposed to be him saying "Waffles.", then movie sign would go off. Instead he said pancakes.

  • @Trey2148

    **whispers**((They're waffles he's holding)) =3

  • I like both Joel & Mike but I know I've seen this before. Was this on the bloopers tape??

  • I know most people prefer Mike, but I prefer Joel. With Joel as host, the show was just crazy fun. With Mike as host, the show turned kind of serious, cranking out jokes faster and faster. Still, the best episodes were mostly Mike's, and before Mike joined as head writer the show wasn't very funny.

  • I like Joel, but I prefer the Mike episodes personally. The Joel episodes have a certain charm to them, as does he, but he's just a little too deadpan for my tastes. Plus as the show went along the riffing and process of making the show got better. I recently watched an interview with Mike and Kevin, they talked about how much more effort went into the show the further they got along, and I think it shows. Plus I just prefer the film selection in the later episodes.

  • hahahaha didnt see it coming.

  • YA BLEW IT.

  • One of the many reasons why this show is so awesome.

  • lol I have the poopie episode I always like watching it

  • HEY! THOSE ARE NOT PANCAKES!

  • Ehh, in response to the highest rated comments, I think they're just about the same anyways.

  • This needs to be a meme of some sorts.

  • @TheGullibleParrot i though trask nari used that as a catch phrase

  • @xoyv I thought he got it from that terrible movie "Cabin fever". If you see the scene you know what i mean.

  • @TheGullibleParrot Perhaps one involving a scout? :3

  • hahaha YOU NUT, GET OUT OF TOWN

  • Yup. I love watching Joel and Mike eps equally. It's even better when they're both on at the same time. Wouldn't that suck if they didn't like each other? Something like you'd learn years later on "E! True Hollywood Story" :) HA!

  • How can you blow "Pancakes"?

  • Pancakes. Oh I blew it.

  • The shortest host segment ever.

  • JOEL IS SCOUT

  • lol, best line flub ever!

  • JOELIIIIIEEEEEE......Gad he's so cute!....I get all warm & squishy. He look so sweet here! Joeliecakes with syrup on top! NOM! NOM! NOM!....

  • [chewing] Pancakes...!

  • ROWSDOWER!!!

  • I pretty much stopped watching this show once Joel left. He has no match.

  • i have watched this so many times....it's not even funny. but yet, i keep laughing!

  • ... ... ... ... Pancakes--OH I BLEW IT.

  • LMAO.

    Goddammit Joel. I love you.

  • TraskNari would be proud.

  • Haha, is one of them saying "waa waa waaaa" at the end?

  • "You nut! Get outta town!" XDXDXDXDXDX

  • Joel you're so dry and funny lol. Mike and Joel have their strengths and weaknesses but overall the shit is always funny!

  • You're the best! lolol.

  • You're stupid.

  • I can't decide if you're trying to be funny or insulting. Either way, it does not work.

  • "mr. Homo inventor"...? You, sir, are NO judge of comedy.

And since when does it matter that *more* people prefer something? Who actually cares which of the two humans is more popular? As Servo said, "It's not healthy to compare".

Just prefer the one you prefer, and don't needlessly bash the other. What's the point? You're not a "Joel fan", but you still watched this.

  • @Gomess ....cuz he/she's a Troll. Ignore 'em.

  • Blehaggaddehfluuben nogaherbidabun.

For our friends in foreign lands.

  • fine and suitable side dish

  • I can never get enough of this! Just the timing, and Joel takes his time chewing those waffles, before he blurts it out.

  • Kevin: YOU NUT,GET OUT OF TOWN!

  • @DerrickTheHedgehog But, he's your ride home, Kevin.

    LOL XD

  • consider the waffle.....

  • I prefer the Joel episodes to the Mike ones. I like them both, but I think it really depends on what kind of mood you're in. In the Mike years, especially when Bill Corbett took over as Crow, the riffing got a lot more vicious and sardonic, whereas in the Joel years it was much more low-key, not so much directly insulting the movie as just making goofy little observations and quips.

  • I agree. :)

  • YESSS. That is, to the letter, how I feel.

  • yep although any mst3k is good mst3k i liked the comedy central era too, the more whimsical humor is just better!

  • @akumacornflakes There's just that "something" that the CC Episodes (either Joel or Mike) have that the SF Episodes don't. I agree. I do love a couple of SF episodes ('Space Mutiny' & 'The Final Sacrifice') and there are still plenty of silly moments....but CC had a certain charm to it. And while Bill's Crow is hilarious, Trace's Crow is my absolute favorite. It's not a "Joel or Mike" thing for me (I love both guys)...it's a "CC or SF". Both eras are funny, sure, as well as both sets of Mads...

  • @MsMeepyLinaBean75 ....However, for me, I perfer Dr. F & Frank over Pearl, Bobo & Brain Guy....When MST3K moved to SF, it lost that certain charm.

  • *Squee!* I LOVE HIM!!!! Joel is so cute!!

  • i agree! totally!

  • Lol I actually got a chance to meet him and I got to hug him! lol He also hit me with a door. T.T (By mistake of course)

  • i would kil to meet him...i would even kill for him to hit me with a door! lol im actually watching I Accuse my Parents right now! lol

  • @Imaeaturface ....lucky..... :)

  • @luv2ridehorses34 ....and me! JOELIE!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • hehe silly Joel!

  • That's still the best Poopie ever.

  • Haha, Pancakes!

  • I don't think that Joel was better than Mike or that Mike was better than Joel.

I think they each had their own unique way of delivering jokes.

  • I agree. Joel was sort of a friendly, calming, artsy-craftsy, Mister Rogers variety type of guy. Mike was just straight-up comedy. I like both styles myself.

  • I think Joel was more comfortable with everything and relaxed, a sort of guy who really does care and believe in what he is saying.

Mike never got use to being on the SOL and as a result seems uneasy and untrusting, but it works incredibly well as he brings out jokes against the other robots and did more risque jokes.

  • I think it's the other way round if you're talking about the actors. Joel is not the kind of guy who likes to be in front of the camera (I think this is one of the reasons why he left). He seems awkward (in a lovely kind of way) in the host segments but becomes a a very different, confident person in the cinema.

Just for clarity: I love both Mike and Joel equally.

  • @SoylentGreeeen Marijuana can make people uncomfortable when they feel the focus of attention ...

  • @Magisterdark Exactly.

  • @Magisterdark Yeah, I really can't say I prefer one or the other. All I can say is that I wish this show could be revived...but there's always rifftrax, I guess, XD.

  • @Magisterdark

    Yes. :)

  • @Magisterdark The only thing I hate about Mike is that his episodes are all 'shipment only' for Netflix. Almost all of Joel's episodes are easy-to-access on the Internet, so I am only able to watch him instead.

  • @LeeroyJenkinsstudio

Have you tried Google Video? There is a ton of each up there.

  • It would've been GREAT if they did multiple takes of this segment, where Joel would say more breakfest items, like "Egss", "Omlets", "French Toast", etc. XD

  • i think that both joel and mike were pretty even in making jokes.

  • He was so much better than Mike.

  • Pancakes?

    PANCAKES!!

  • WAFFLES

    -hero

  • unforgivable

  • That's what you are.....

  • Tom Servo: 0:07-0:11.

  • Joel is better than Mike.

  • joel was the fucking man

  • I've watched this at least 12 times in a row, and I'm *still laughing*. Just the absurdedy of it all...long live MST3K!

  • I had THE hugest crush on Joel when I was a young-un.

  • So did I. I had it BAAAD for him, boy howdy. :)

  • Same. Too bad the series started when I was born.

  • I did too. All through high school, I was so in love with him, and obsessed with this show. I was in the fan club, had stickers all over my books. My best friend and I even tried to make our own home version of MST. I miss the '90s!

  • Honey, we ALL miss the 90's.

  • Well, in another 801/2 years the 90s will return. I doubt the shows will be any better then though.

  • Yes indeed...

  • Pancakes.

  • pancakes

  • Best.

    Thing.

    On.

    YouTube.

  • Why cant everyone just acknowledge that both Mike and Joel are great, it just comes down to personal preference on which one you like better since their comedic styles were both different.

  • I agree, I love them both. I also like both Crows and can see the merits of both Tom Servos... even if Kevin Murphy's was vastly superior.

  • pancakes

  • Pancakes.

  • PANCAKES FTW!!

  • Well then...pancakes.

  • I refuse to make a choice. Joel and Mike are both excellent in their own ways.

  • pancakes

  • mike was actually the head writer even back when joel was on...

anyway i think they're both awesome

  • PANCAKES.

  • I can't prefer one over the other. It's like original recipe and extra crispy. Or a more dignified analogy is they're the two bower cards of Euchre.

  • Joel is generally better, but Mike has some amazing shorts.

Wait that does not sound right...

  • He's got a plate full of waffles, and he instantly says "pancakes"? XD ROFL
