You can hate Nascar ans you can dislike the racing but until you step up and actually drive a stock car you have no idea what skill it takes. It takes big time skill and talent just like any other form of racing. don't be an ass.
Ya, Montoya, Fittipaldi, Fukuyama, Villeneuve and Lazier all stepped up to NASCAR and all did bad. Montoya came the best, but he score many DNFs (and last place finishes like at Bristol).
Villeneuve did so bad on his debut. All of the people who "have skill" that comes from road course series all do very bad in NASCAR.....HMMM GEES I WONDER Y. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that heavy pack racing requires skill (look at INDY)
Villeneuve's debut wasnt THAT bad in Nextel. Qualified well, didnt bang anybody, and finished on the lead lap, not bad for a guy who was racing trucks for like a month. Im not saying hes an allstar but dont lump him with the likes of hornish/lazier/franchitti/fittipaldi hes got talent.
That's to give the lap down cars a chance to catch up.
Plus the debris will puncture a hole in the tires and someone car seriously get hurt from that (remember there's no sand pits in ovals to slow the cars down)
It's not like Villeneuve has anything else better to do, besides, considering that NASCAR requires "no skill" he didn't do well at all at his debut (in fact he was so crappy)
I hate nascar, im sorry but I just dont find any skill in driving in a circle, even if there is drafting and that involved, F1, indy, Le Mans, etc, take skill, nascar just doesnt take much skill, hell I could do prob do nastycar...but i dont want to.
Keep in mind that by saying that you are also saying that you are a better driver then Hideo Fukuyama, Christian Fittipaldi, Juan Pablo Montoya, Jacques Villeneuve, and Scott Speed. Which i highly doubt. Play a simulation then come back
comparing F1 to nascar is like comparing a ferrari to an old chevy pickup truck. montoya, villeneuve, franchitti are F1 has beens.

That is correct, those who go to nascar are wasting their talent.

In fact, NASCAR requires more skill than INDY because indy only has 20 cars when NASCAR has a whopping 43

How does Indy require more skill then NASCAR?
They both race on ovals

Gosh...I'm going to have to become a NASCAR fan, and that's terribly frightning.
