A lot of people believe that being gay is a choice or it can be "cured" but what they fail to realize is that it is not an illness. It is just how you are. It is not contagious. When my mother first found out that I was gay she wasn't shocked at all. She seen it comin but she thought it was just a phase. I'm gay. I'm a christian, I love jesus, I AM saved, and I love who I am. It's not one thing or the other. Jesus loves us all. And yes, it IS in the bible that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. But it also says that anyone who is saved, is saved indeed. SO, what's stronger? It's so conflicting. Nobody really knows until they see Jesus face to face. Just saying. I love my saviour and I love my women. Don't hate yourself.

@xputonahappyfacex I completely understand. I just told my mom that me and my "best friend" are actually in a relationship, and she hates the idea. It doesn't matter what your mother, my mother or anyone else's mother may think. You are who you are, and you like what you like and there is nothing they can do about it. Love yourself and love who you're with. Just know that there are people out there going through the same thing that you are.

A lot of people believe that being gay is a choice or it can be "cured" but what they fail to realize is that it is not an illness. It is just how you are. It is not contagious. When my mother first found out that I was gay she wasn't shocked at all. She seen it comin but she thought it was just a phase. It's been four years since I came out and she understands now that I am who I am.
