that flutter is an indication that your spring......wasnt matched with your car's performance. the ssq isnt supposed to flutter that much....the high pitch squeek is normal, but too much flutter isnt good. its the spring being to weak and getting bounced up and down.

you might even have a bit of a boost leak.

erm, unless you're running an archaic air-flow meter, it's not really necessary to be pumping hot air back in front of the turbo

erm, if you were to map the air flow in 3-d space in front of the compressor, there would be a vacuum in a confined space. Recirculating the compressed air just gives the turbo "something more to grab on to". And it is inefficient because the turbo already did work on the air, and now the air is wasted to the atmosphere. haha silly goose. actually a recirculating valve sends the air back to a meter and that meter regulates the fuel. or something like that. if you dont have a recirculating valve or a stand-alone computer system, your comp. will tell the engine to dump fuel. thus your car runs very rich. that is why my brother's car shoots fireballs when he shifts and it blows off. extra fuel is dumped in order to regulate the mixture because it doesn't sense the air. the extra fuel ignites and creates a fireball.

it doesn't go back to the meter with a recirculating valve.

that is why if you have an after market bov on a subaru (which comes stock with recurculating valve) it will shoot fire balls becouse it has already compensated for that air that should be recurculating so it added fuel but since you have no recurculating valve there is not enough air in the cumbustion chamber to properly ignite the fuel so while it goes threw the exhuast it hits hot spots and ignites causing a fire ball.

The noise is made from the compressed air coming out the turbo vented through the atmospheric blow off valve rather than recycling blow off valve. Does anyone know whether the recycle blow off valves are bad for ur car cuase when u think bout it, its like compressor surge in the sense that all the air goes back into the turbo and spins it the other way, thus killing the shit out of ur turb

well, figure if youre running 25PSI on a stock turbo, and thats getting recirculated, thats gonna kill the turbine. that flutter really isnt bad, it just means that the turbo isn't working as effectively as it should.
