No offense to Yogscast, but i'm kind of glad they stopped making wow video's. They aren't exactly guides. Not sure if thats why they stopped making them but it was probably for the best. I still love Yogscast though.
I just did this instance on my newly dinged 85 paladin. I was worried I might not have good enough gear (mostly normal blues and ring from headless horseman), but man... it was so bloody easy I kinda felt disappointed by it. maybe this has been nerfed since the video was made, or maybe the tank had crazy gear, but it was kinda easy as hell :( lame :(
can anyone tell me are blood DKs good tanks? i seem to hear that they are bad but don't know if thats just comming from people that don't like DKs or what.
@XchucksteakX Well it's all depending on the gear, rotation, and the person. My Blood DK is a pretty decent tank. I personally prefer warrior or paladin tanks, but that's just my personally preference
@tyrabanksfanclub why do you prefer them? i play a dk and i find it just a little discouraging that peeps ask for a tank and i say i can tank and they see im a blood DK and kinda go uhhhh any pallys or warriors? i just find it a bit saddening and if i could pay for a class change i would but all my profession and mounts and everything, i dont wanna work it all up again on another character...
@XchucksteakX Well you make another character, it's not like you're deleting it. Paladins are generally better because they can heal teammates and they can hold aggro much better.

lol... well the good thing about being a tank on these is that if you get yelled at just leave and reque and have them wait a while for one to pop up... but i think they fixed the whole thing with ZA and ZG about 15 min less wait time if im not mistaken

yeah just tonight i was doing a 5-man group i think at stonecore or somethin just regular. no biggy i got like 371 gear so i was tanking easily. the end boss tho this huntr was typing all huge letter like 'OMG AGGRO OG AGGROOOO!!!!' and after defeating the boss he left ninjaing the last loot. i could't believe it. but luckily i was drunk to not give a shit. i just couldn't comprehend the stupidity of this dps FAGGOT targeting something i wasn't aggroing. now i undrsand if there's a really stron
@iamextremelyawesome I play a hunter and I can say that it was his own fault for picking up aggro. Not only should he be going after your target, but he should be able to misdirect back to you if he does accidentally pick up aggro. A hunter should make it easier to keep aggro, not harder. When any player starts yelling things that doesn't help anyone, they should just be kicked.

I use around 30 min + to get in on 1 Zandalari dungeon as a dps, when one think about how many lvl 85's there are, one should tought that it takes much less time to enter one...

id love to see this dungeon patched to be alot harder, all bosses have alot more hp cuz they dont have very much, dmg patched to be more, and instead of daakara becoming the spirits, he summons them to fight with him, and for him to use, ALL the spirits, cuz right now its wayyy to ez, and i'd love to see this dungeon built as amazingly as it diserves, like who disagree's that this dungeon diservers to be the best created dungeon in the game, and even one of the hadest, it diserves it!

@mysticalknightofjack Yeah cuz they forgot that they started out that way too. It really depends on the person behind the characters. If they're not nice, they're not nice. Best to leave. No matter how many times you read tactics and see the videos, you still need practice to make it perfect. But good luck to finding nice group =)
@mysticalknightofjack I did literally no research before doing heroics. I did perfectly and never recieved complaints. Now I'm done with the regular heroics and only troll dungeons and raids will give me better gear. Heroics are a joke. If you know how to play your class, they are a non-issue.
@VermilionMage Does your uberl33tness make up for your tiny penis? :). If you don't fail the first time doing a boss in this game, its too easy, or you're being carried, no exceptions. I'm guessing the latter was true of you. L2P is the battle cry of the 12 year old by the way.
@PseudoNocturnal I never said I didn't fail on a few bosses the first time. However, I was never the cause of a wipe, directly or indirectly. The second time trying it's guaranteed to go smoothly once the whole group gets coordinated. Alright, perhaps it was a stretch to say I did "perfectly," but if you are simply unable to run heroics because of your own mistakes, you need to stop wasting other people's time and learn the fights.

We all start somewhere, and I have found that newcomers to an area tend to be more aware and try harder to be more "correct" in fight mechanics than people who've run it a million times (and have probably been carried for any slack they have by higher ilvl players). I usually run with as many guildies as possible so at least we have some control over who does and does not get kicked.

At halazzi, plz healer and range stay in the Water totem you get 5-6k mana every time from it...only kill Lightning totem, and ignore the Tiger at just kill/nuke boss!!
i'm watching all the fights but i need to experience them for myself before i fully know what to do. which means i am bound to fuck up a few times in the learning process. but how can i go int a pug like that? i have never done it and if i do fuck up because i'm a first-timer i'll either get kicked or the group will break up. how do first-timers pug these instances and succeed at all?
@Sonnyrazer yeah but most people in pugs aren't as rational as that. i've been in so many where there are asshats who leave at the first wipe or votekick the guy who's still learning the fight. in heroic GB i got kicked a few times but i had the normal modes to fall back on and learn the fights. for this there is no normal mode to help you practice, so i'm very reluctant about joining a pug.
@habs4life9 well there is DBM addon not sure how accurate it is about these fights now but looking at some trickier fights and that can help ya get this shit done
@Sonnyrazer while i agree with your logic sir, that is far from the truth in most cases. People forget that at some point EVERYONE is new to the content and should be coached. This game forces you to play as a team and for some that is impossible because of their egos. But well said sir, well said.
If your having trouble healing it just make sure everyone is spread out, that way chain lightning doesn't hit everyone. Made it way easier for me and I've only got a 353 ilvl
Eagle Boss: Kill white eagle, stand under thundercloud.
Bear Boss: Charges farthest player, stack if you want.
Cat Boss: Kill totems as soon as they come down, kill cat add.
Dragonhawk Boss: Adds will run up to hatch eggs, let them hatch eggs. Kill dragonhawks that come out of the eggs. Boss will throw firebombs, stand in a clear area. Avoid the line of fire.
Hex Lord: Easiest to just keep the two adds cc'd the whole fight.
@Fwater2 that thing you said about the bear now is terribly wrong because you cant take 2 charges no matter how many cd's youhave popped unless its a pala bubble this was tried by me and some guildies involuntarily since out tank was at 230k hp with all cd's off (warrior tank) and he died of taking 2 (he lost aggro due to slacking off when i popped recklessnes bladestorm somehow)
@Sonnyrazer There's a limit to how long a youtube comment can be so I left out the fact that you have to rotate who takes the charges, I figured people would be able to see the debuff that says they take like 1000% more physical damage and realize "Maybe I shouldn't get charged again." That comment was also written after my first run in Zul'Aman which went flawlessly, obviously it will not be ideal strategies any longer as this short guide is almost 3 months old.
@felixmdx They're just assuming that not everyone watching the video are wrath babies, they explained the fights well for people who did it back in the day.
This video was useless. No boss help just nonsense babbling about how things used to be and how easy everything was even though they visibly struggled at parts.
@lynaugh21 i know. thought they would have something useful to say. or at least read that Voljin is willing to work with either horde or alliance to stop the trolls. >.>
to all those complaining that this isnt a walkthough its not ment to be look at the tital overview and CHAT , its not a waist of time it does exactly what it says this kinda thing is what the yogscast has always done.

At halazzi, plz healer and range stay in the Water totem you get 5-6k mana every time from it...only kill Lightning totem, and ignore the Tiger at just kill/nuke boss!!

i'm watching all the fights but i need to experience them for myself before i fully know what to do. which means i am bound to fuck up a few times in the learning process. but how can i go int a pug like that? i have never done it and if i do fuck up because i'm a first-timer i'll either get kicked or the group will break up. how do first-timers pug these instances and succeed at all?

@Sonnyrazer yeah but most people in pugs aren't as rational as that. i've been in so many where there are asshats who leave at the first wipe or votekick the guy who's still learning the fight. in heroic GB i got kicked a few times but i had the normal modes to fall back on and learn the fights. for this there is no normal mode to help you practice, so i'm very reluctant about joining a pug.

@Sonnyrazer while i agree with your logic sir, that is far from the truth in most cases. People forget that at some point EVERYONE is new to the content and should be coached. This game forces you to play as a team and for some that is impossible because of their egos. But well said sir, well said.

If your having trouble healing it just make sure everyone is spread out, that way chain lightning doesn't hit everyone. Made it way easier for me and I've only got a 353 ilvl

Eagle Boss: Kill white eagle, stand under thundercloud.
Bear Boss: Charges farthest player, stack if you want.
Cat Boss: Kill totems as soon as they come down, kill cat add.
Dragonhawk Boss: Adds will run up to hatch eggs, let them hatch eggs. Kill dragonhawks that come out of the eggs. Boss will throw firebombs, stand in a clear area. Avoid the line of fire.
Hex Lord: Easiest to just keep the two adds cc'd the whole fight.
Final Boss: Cat - Kill boss. Dragon - kill cat adds, avoid fire.

@Fwater2 that thing you said about the bear now is terribly wrong because you cant take 2 charges no matter how many cd's youhave popped unless its a pala bubble this was tried by me and some guildies involuntarily since out tank was at 230k hp with all cd's off (warrior tank) and he died of taking 2 (he lost aggro due to slacking off when i popped recklessnes bladestorm somehow)

@Sonnyrazer There's a limit to how long a youtube comment can be so I left out the fact that you have to rotate who takes the charges, I figured people would be able to see the debuff that says they take like 1000% more physical damage and realize "Maybe I shouldn't get charged again." That comment was also written after my first run in Zul'Aman which went flawlessly, obviously it will not be ideal strategies any longer as this short guide is almost 3 months old.
