Gophers seem to have one game a year where they just lay an egg, and the last few years it's been against freakin' Northwestern. No reason Northwestern should have been in this game, yet alone won it. Letting their scrub QB run wild was simply embarrassing.

Northwestern isn't a good team and everybody knows it.

You obviously still think it's the year 1981. Northwestern isn't a doormat anymore--the 'Cats have won the third-most Big Ten championships since 1995. When was YOUR last Big Ten championship? (To save you the time, it was 1967.)

Northwestern is now 7-2, 3-2 in the conference--exactly the same as Minnesota. They are a GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM.

By the way, scoring 17 points against the NU defense and being in it right until the end is hardly "laying an egg." Props to the Gophers on a great game.

i was at this game, and im a gopher fan, we couldnt stop your QB#13, he played outstanding, we really were loud and he kept his composure down, congrats to you guysand at the end of the game when he threw the intp. the crowd fell dead and so did i, it was a good fought game but in the end you guys deserved to win and you did, congradulations
