This is what I would call "fence straddling". It ain't chi sau, and it ain't fighting. Chi sau is sensitivity training, and fights don't start from chi sau "rolling hands". This is neither. It's a bastardization of both. Probably an attempt to make chi sau more "relevant", but in the end, it's neither. If you want to chi sau, then chi sau. If you want to fight, then fight.

i took part in a chi sau comp in florida 2000,and we didnt walk about,u had to stand on two lines and if u moved off them,u lose a point,and there was more of the wing chun elements used,much harder than this though ,
